- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a estimate software that receives updated pricing on material and labor costs per month to stay competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a contact with a new prospect has been established I move forward to scheduling the bid. Go do an in-house estimate, address any obstacles the project may presents. Then do an estimate using the software and submit in my bid proposal via email. If my proposal is accepted I schedule another meeting to execute a contract agreement. When the agreement has been executed installation date will be scheduled.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Business Mgmt from MTSU. I received my trainings via hand-on jobs working for few major general contractors in the past. I also used to work at both retailers - Home Depot & Lowe's. I have skills in the technology world having a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. I have been in the construction industry for almost 18 years now with 11 years being the owner now.
