Introduction: I am professional music producer/guitarist/engineer. I have both a gold and platinum record for my production work. I am currently producing/engineering and playing guitar on a new record featuring bass legend Jeff Berlin, Sammy Hagar from Van Halen, Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee from Rush as well as guitars greats Eric Johnson, Scott Henderson and Bill Frisell. It's due out June 2022. I recently finished producing. a new recording called "Eyes Wide Open" for David Sancious. David was the original keyboardist of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and has toured with Sting, Peter Gabriel, Seal, Eric Clapton and many other superstars. I have over 120 producing, engineering and guitar credits on major and independent record labels. I was a former head of A&R for EMI Music Group in New York City. I have major industry contacts and a large network of musicians, managers and other affiliated music industry connections. I also accept guitar students for private lessons. I am well-versed in all styles and have a music degree from Berklee College of Music in Guitar Performance. For production work, I have a state-of-the art ProTools home studio and have access to the best musicians in Nashville should there be a need for additional session players. My rates are structured according to the project and the needs of the client. I will always try to work within your budget.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have worked with major label artists, indy artists and singer songwriters. All projects are unique and have budget guidelines. I work with each to figure out the most economical and strategic ways to make great recordings.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to hear samples of their music first. Find out what their vision is of their music and career. What their goals are. Also, it's important to me that we can work together. I don't work with difficult people and with people who are not open to partnerships. Any successful creation of music is always a creative partnership. It doesn't work any other way.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston. I toured many years as a guitar player and music director for numerous bands. As a producer/engineer I have worked at the best recording studios throughout the US and internationally. I resided in New York City for many years and worked with the top engineers and musicians. I learned from the best of the best.
