Anna - has been a God send for our daughter. She is very knowledgeable and skilled in this field. She sees each student as an individual and works to adapt the type of ACT/Tutoring plan the student needs to fit his/her schedule, academic standing and flexibility needed. The only thing I wish - I wish we would have started working with her sooner. She has a passion for her students and for learning!

Very detailed in her explanations, she was well versed in the reading and English sections helping me raise my score in each. She teaches a class for act tutoring at my school (Central Magnet), but I didn't have the time to take a semester class. This is a great alternative that I would recommend for anyone looking to bump up their score.

Julie is fantastic- nurturing, kind, professional and a great writing tutor. Her rates are lower than average, so the value was terrific. She is always on time or a bit early. My son loved her. We used her multiple times a week as our primary writing teacher for my 6th grader who was homeschooled at the time. I recommended her to a friend who needed a homeschool tutor due to some emotional difficulty with school and she was so grateful. Julie was the first tutor that her daughter responded to positively. Julie is kind and gentle, but firm so things get done. She will bend over backward to help a student or their parents. She has a true love of both learning and of her students. She is a wonderful person to have in your home. Peaceful, kind, personable. You will be fortunate if you are able to fit into her schedule and she into yours!!

Sam was incredibly helpful. Our daughter needed some extra time with algebra work outside the classroom. And while we were a little skeptical finding someone not through the school, glad that we decided to go for it.

The tutor will also help with organization, study skills and note-taking strategies. 4. We train our tutors in etiquette and are interviewed by a member of our hiring department to ensure that they have the right temperament to uphold our mission of nurturing hidden potentials through tutoring and mentoring. 5. Best-Match Guarantee -- All of your tutoring sessions will be protected by our best-match guarantee. This simply means that we don't charge you if you're not satisfied with your tutoring session. 6. Reporting -- We provide you with a detailed report at the end of each tutoring session, which includes what your tutors accomplished during their tutoring sessions, the student's strengths and weaknesses, and what they plan to accomplish in their next tutoring sessions. This report allows both the tutor and I to be accountable to you. 7. Technology -- Direct access to our award-winning web platform allows you to review your tutor's profile, qualifications, and availability. You can also book sessions, pay for sessions, track session reports, and communicate with me and your tutor at any time. The website also generates receipts for tax deduction purposes. 8. All sessions are one-one-one. I can conduct sessions over the internet with VOIP and synchronized white boarding or in person. We begin with a meeting of the parent(s) and the student to review expectations they have of me and my expectations of the student. We review the specific goals they wish to accomplish. This has helped all involved feel more comfortable with the tutoring sessions.
