Kala helped me to make some changes to a research paper that I had written for an internship that we both participated in two years ago through my school's writing center. She read through my paper and gave me some suggestions, such as beginning my paper with a more attention-grabbing introduction, or "hook." She Also pointed out some grammar errors that I had made. Kala was very considerate of my feelings when she offered suggestions, which I appreciated, but she was also honest. The only issue that I had with our session was that I wish we'd had more time to look over my paper together. We had to fit our session into one of our class periods, so the peer editing process felt somewhat rushed. However, I was still very pleased with the way my session with Kala went, and I would definitely work with her again.
