Excellent. I wanted to give my husband piano lessons as a surprise. Tatia was super helpful getting it all set up. She emailed me right away and then we connected by phone...so easy. The lessons are going great. Rose music group is a very professional organization.
Piano lessons are tailored and fun. Matt is a great teacher
Beginner piano lessons. Camee is friendly and low stress! Lots of fun and I've signed up for more lessons.
I feel like I have learned a lot in such a short period of time working with Caleb. He listens to where you want to go in your playing and tailors the lessons for you to reach your goal. He has really taken me to a place in my playing ability that I never would have dreamed. He is truely an outstanding teacher and I recommend him to anyone that I talk to that is looking to start piano lessons.
I had the pleasure of taking piano lessons with Jon for a few months. As an older student, Jon made the lessons fun while challenging me to tackle a variety of pieces. I highly recommend Jon for students of all ages!
I have been taking piano lessons from Linda for past year and have learned so much. At 56 years old, I have always wanted to learn to play the piano. With Linda's help I am playing!! As a nervous beginner, Linda has been patient, encouraging, and finds unique pieces for me to play at my level instead of just "mary had a little lamb" She has even worked with me after breaking several bones in my left hand. My surgeon and physical therapist was impressed that my teacher was helpful in my rehabilitation. Linda sees past my age and physical disabilities and inspires me.
My son has been taking drum & piano lessons from Zig for about 2 years. What a wonderful teacher Zig is! My son has learned SO much & looks forward to his lessons every week. Zig's expertise, professionalism, & positive approach/teaching technique is appreciated not only by my son, but also by my husband & me. We have recommended Zig to several friends & they are constantly thanking us for the recommendation. We are thankful to have found such an awesome teacher who has helped foster our son's love & appreciation of music.
My daughter simply loves Miss Apryl's piano lessons. She has learnt so much in a such a short time all while having fun. She thinks of her piano lessons as play time with her friends :) Miss Apryl is patient with the kids..and really knows how to allow kids to have a good time and learn music at the same time..a very difficult balance to achieve!
Erin responded to my email (I live in VA) requesting a surprise birthday present (piano lessons for a month) for my daughter who lives in TN with her husband and 2 small children. Erin was willing to go to my daughter's home (on her birthday), she held up a Happy Birthday sign as she met my daughter at the door, she sang "Happy Birthday" to my daughter, and then gave her a wonderful piano lesson. I feel so lucky to have connected with Erin, who gave my daughter her undivided attention, made her day, and rekindled her love of music.
I take jazz lessons for bass and he is amazing teacher. Always is pactiant and makes things easier to understand. Highly recamend this guy
We cannot say enough about Mrs. Susan Swenson. She is not only incredibly professional and kind, but has a true gift to teach music. She has transformed my son and are grateful for her compassion for her students and music.
Evan is the perfect teacher for anyone looking to sharpen their vocal skills, and is also an extremely proficient piano and keyboard player. I'm a much more confident singer now, and can even play piano well enough where I'm comfortable to play open mics :-). I definitely recommend Evan as a teacher - he clearly got a great education at the Berklee college of Music and was able to pass along a lot of valuable knowledge to me!
Pamela Pierson is a very talented instructor who cares about the student as well as the music. She takes time to listen to what the student is doing. She also asks the student what they want to accomplish and tailors the lessons toward a common goal. Pamela is also patient where needed but has the ability to be just as firm. I am very grateful as a parent to have found Pamela and have recommended her to many others.
Hi, I am an accomplished flute and cello player, but I was looking to expand my musicianship to the piano. Kaitlyn can really lay out all the chord voicings and scales on the piano in a very teachable and relatable way. Her classical training is a huge factor and she is well versed in jazz improvisation and vocal technique. I have also seen her shred on stage several times. I would recommend her for any student or anyone looking to hire a pro pianist.
I feel that I have a knack for style, and helping people find what they really want out of music. Of course, if you're just starting, learning the mechanics of the instrument is the most important. But your instrument is really just an extension of yourself, and you eventually want to play how you feel. Its an extraordinary thing!
Melinda's Music Studio offers piano lessons (both group lessons and private), music classes for preschoolers -- age 2 to 5 and 5 and up -- and vocal coaching.
I taught myself music at a very young age and have always had a natural understanding for music and music theory. I can relate music to any other form under the sun and beyond, and can connect what people already know to music for a vast opening of the mind to the nature of music.
I provide piano and keyboard lessons. I have a background in classical and other styles of music such as pop, rock, blues, funk, jazz, country, worship, etc., which includes many years of professional performing and studio recording. My method of teaching would include reading notation as well as numbers (based on music theory which would enable one to play more by ear and improvise, as opposed to only reading notes). It all depends on what one would most desire to learn as everyone is different regarding his/her learning needs and level of playing/expertise. I am over 50 and have been playing since age 5, and have a concert grand piano (Yamaha C7) as well as other electric equipment (keyboards) to enhance the learning experience.
I teach piano and voice. I teach voice from 7th grade to adult. I teach piano from moderate beginner to early advance. I can teach in my home or travel to the student. I have decades of performance experience -- including an active, touring vocal group, Inversion.
I find that other instructors can tend to be focused on getting through various books and trudging along, instead of actively focusing on clients' musical goals, and tailoring instruction to the needs of clients. Everyone learns differently, and I feel communication and actively trying to help clients meet their specific musical goals is of the utmost importance. Perhaps one client wants to focus on learning to read music and play classical piano, while another client's goal is to learn to compose and write music. It's important to keep the dialogue open, and work toward helping the client meet those specific goals. I also feel that many instructors fall into regimented patterns of instruction, and I like to provide instruction based on my client's personality and pace of learning. Lastly, I have such a strong passion for music, and my goal is to inspire clients, and get them excited about music!
