Jacob is really an outstanding teacher and just a genuinely good guy. I've been studying with him for over a year now and I've made significant strides in my vocal development. He's been the sole reason why I've been able to take the leap from a backup vocalist to a lead vocalist. He has an incredible breadth of knowledge about the actual physiological way the voice works which helps you understand the purpose of the exercises he runs you through and how to take care of your voice. At the same time, he won't bore you with the details if that's not your interest. He's also very flexible with his lesson plans. If you're unsure of your goals but generally want to become a better singer then he'll guide you. At the same time, if you have any specific techniques or goals you want to achieve then he'll tailor the lessons appropriately. Like I said at the beginning, he's just a great guy and really helps your confidence which is arguably the number one factor in separating a good performance from an amazing performance. I would highly recommend him as a vocal coach.

I have taken a few piano lessons from John, and I find his method of teaching to be both encouraging and instructive. He has an obvious passion for music and a knack for explaining concepts in a way that is clear and precise, without being overly technical or intimidating. I would recommend him to anyone looking to develop their overall understanding of music, and definitely to anyone who hopes to learn to improvise and arrange their own pieces!

I have loved taking Spanish lessons with S & D Cross-Cultural Solutions! I feel like I have learned so much in just the short time that I've been taking the course. Natalia's great at finding resources that I will be interested in and makes you feel comfortable as you explore a new language. I genuinely look forward to every class session and her encouragement has helped me tremendously as I try to learn a new language. The personalized learning, hands-on exercises, and encouragement between lessons has made this experience everything that I hoped it would be.

Nathan has been teaching my daughter how to play guitar and she's enjoying his teaching style and learning a lot at the same time. She had never picked up a guitar before and so we had to sort of force her to start the lessons at first. After only a few lessons, she was practicing on her own and enjoying her ability to play pieces of songs. We have even joined in and had him teach us some things on the side after her lesson was over which he was more than happy to do. I appreciate the time slot he's given us since we work all week and don't come home until later in the evening. We are seeing great improvements in how our daughter plays guitar and she is able to even teach us a few things that she learned! Thanks Nathan!

I feel like I have learned a lot in such a short period of time working with Caleb. He listens to where you want to go in your playing and tailors the lessons for you to reach your goal. He has really taken me to a place in my playing ability that I never would have dreamed. He is truely an outstanding teacher and I recommend him to anyone that I talk to that is looking to start piano lessons.

Cindy has been the highlight of our week, and we have had lessons every week for almost 2 years now! She is extremely talented and very experienced in the music industry in nashville. She brings her experiences and expertise every time. My son is very creative, and she can relate to him. She also encouraged him to write his own music after he showed interest in it. She makes it fun! Cindy was the perfect introduction to music and the perfect first instrument, piano, teacher. Love her!!!

After I retired I decided to finally do something I wanted to do all my life - learn to play the piano. Finding the right teacher as an adult isn't always easy - luckily Natalie was the one I found. She's just so intuitive about what would work to get you to learn, what you're thinking, and how you're feeling about it all. She makes learning piano fun and a collaborative experience - I use a combination of lesson books and easy piano versions of songs I particularly like. Natalie is supportive and kind, and yet gets you to learn what you need to know to continue on and get progressively better. What else can I say? You really couldn't find a better person to teach you. And she teaches piano, violin, and voice!!

I am 54 years old, took lessons when I was younger and quit. I could play by ear some, and struggled to read music. I was unsure how this “old dog” would do....but I have to say, it has been amazing! Eric met me right where I am in my ability to play piano, and is working with me to get me to that next level! He is super talented, loves what he does, and teaches in a way that helps me learn something every week!! I highly recommend Listening House Piano Studios!!!

Matt is my son's guitar teacher and band coach. Matt is awesome! My son and I adore him. Matt really connects with his students through an approachable style and great sense of humor. He is truly interested in their success. Matt is experienced, enthusiastic and creative. He helps my son choose the type of music that he is both interested in and that suits his playing style. This makes lessons fun and productive. With this kind of support and guidance, it is no surprise to me that my sons band won The Battle of the Bands two years running. Bottom line, Matt is a wonderful and trusting person and an amazing teacher and a mentor for my son.

I’ve taken lessons from John for months. I’m a fairly new lead guitarist for our band. My progress has amazed my bandmates in how I now add to the melody of songs using chord inversions and fills. My soloing is more imaginative, soulful and melodic. I especially like the way John tailors his teaching style to my unique needs, always demonstrating the practical application of the theory he explains. Highly recommended.

My daughter takes guitar lessons from Keith. She's 10 and pretty shy but Keith is very patient. He has taught her about new genres of music and new musicians. He encourages her to bring in things she wants to learn. She enjoys her lessons a lot and has discovered a talent she didn't know she had, with Keith's gentle, encouraging direction. She has enjoyed it so much she's inspired her sister to take lessons from Keith as well. In addition, Keith is phenomenonally talented and sometimes he plays a little after her lesson is over, and that's always a treat!
