Excellent. I wanted to give my husband piano lessons as a surprise. Tatia was super helpful getting it all set up. She emailed me right away and then we connected by phone...so easy. The lessons are going great. Rose music group is a very professional organization.
After two years of "basic" piano lessons, my daughters were bored and not challenged, they wanted to quit. Cedarstone breathed new life into them and now.....8 years later, they are playing the piano and now taking voice lessons. They can sit down and play ANY song they hear. We are an official "musically inclined" family which has been such a gift........it is their way to refuel and relax. It has given them great joy and they both have incredible talent that was tapped thanks to Cedarstone!
I took two drum lessons with Danny, and for both he was absolutely incredible. I’m still just learning, and Danny was very straightforward, helpful, professional, and hilarious. He really took the pressure from the situation. Definitely will continue to take lessons.
Keith was Awesome at identifying my weak points and tailoring the lessons to productive progress on those points. Thank you Keith Sincerely John Boehm
I took drums lessons from Matt North for three years, until my family had to move out of state. Matt is a *fantastic* teacher and an amazing drummer. His creativity, personality, musicality and sense of fun is extraordinary. I felt like I wanted to practice because I taught for me. He customized lessons to what I most needed to learn and wanted to play. I started lessons with Matt as an adult, but he'd be good with any age student. His rate was more than reasonable given what I learned over the years. He was flexible with scheduling, too, which really helps with crazy busy schedules. And not incidentally, his personal drum studio is amazing, as is the quality of some of his vintage drums. Matt's an all-around great teacher and drummer.
Prompt, courteous, and a great communicator prior to the 1st lesson. He even took time to ensure the drums were tuned prior the 1st lesson. Very professional.
I think it would be hard to find a more supportive, committed, and student-centered music mentor than Matt. He "gets" kids and he knows how to be empathetic when needed, or when to push kids to grow. In terms of musicianship, Matt is top-notch. A sought-after professional guitarist player who studied at Berklee, he's also done vocals professionally, as well as percussion and keys. Besides being coached by Matt in her band, our daughter worked with him to produce both individual recording sessions and an EP. In all cases, it was Matt who did the sound production, but he also helped her launch and market her product. In a word, Matt knows the process like the back of his hand, from songwriting to recording to live performance, all the while never losing focus on the kids and their needs. The best!
I've been taking base lessons with Jordan for the past 3 years and have found that the half hour I spend a week is always worth every penny. Jordan is patient, talented and always professional. My son also takes piano lessons after my session and he enjoys it also.
I had a lesson with Charlie two years ago this month. First let me say that he is humble. You will not feel intimidated by his talent. He seems as if you've known him for a long time. I picked up on some tips that I'd never considered in my 45 years of drumming. Cost is secondary - but very competitive in comparison to other instructors. he's excellent. Thanks Charlie - you re-inspired me - I'm gigging out again after over 20 years. Folks, do not hesitate to work with this man. He has a pedigree of training and influence that few have. I wish I'd seen this site two years ago, I would have posted immediately. JB
After trying to teach myself how to play drums over the last 12 years and going nowhere, I realized I needed to get some professional help. Stephie G. has been very patient with me while helping me unlearn some bad habits, as well as teaching me how to read music! She is able to take her knowledge of drumming and percussion and present it in a way that I can understand. She is also good at giving advice and challenges that have helped me improve my drumming skills, thus far.
Noah is a great teacher! His sunny attitude takes the frustration out of learning new skills. His amazing skills are matched in measure by his amazing patience, and he has a knack for explaining technique in ways that can be easily grasped by students of any level. Spending time with Noah for lessons is a joyous occasion, something to look forward to, that leaves me with not only improved musical skills, but an improved outlook on life. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

I was fortunate for many years to study and play with some world class musicians- guitarists, bass players, pianist, etc and world renowned jazz educators who have given me a unique ability to help both myself and others develop music skills. The things that people don't normally get from colleges and music schools and books and videos on line, etc.
