John is a good teacher. He gives good "homework" to practice and works at his students' pace. He also is flexible about scheduling which has been super helpful! I'm really enjoying bass lessons and feel like he is working hard to teach me to play tunes realistic for my skill level and keep up with others!
Beginner piano lessons. Camee is friendly and low stress! Lots of fun and I've signed up for more lessons.
I took weekly private banjo lessons from Wilson for 2+ years. He was a terrific teacher. He was great at balancing theory with working on songs. Great at picking out music at my level that I would learn from and enjoy. And was always responsive to what I was most interested in learning. He even got me to perform in public by playing with me at an open mic night! I would highly recommend him.
He went over my goals with me and what I needed to learn and practice inoder to reach them in detail. He also did a great job at connecting and expanding on what I already knew about bass and music theory as well as going over all the basics.
I have worked with Matt Cummings for 5 years, he was my band instructor and personal bass teacher. He was always very lenient with style and song choices; he would always be there to help learn new songs, or even write songs. Matt is a very reliable person whom I could trust to be on-time and respectable. Through the countless hours spent with him I have become very close with him. I recommend anyone and everyone to try lessons form him. He is a extremely talented person and I think that he can help everyone get better.
Patrick did an excellent job working with my son on bass. He is polite and always available. He is easy to get ahold of as well as working with us to maintain our schedule. I would recommend him highly for music lessons. The Beavers Ft. Collins CO
Nick has an excellent approach to teaching guitar to students of any level. He came prepared to our session with a complete lesson plan based off of the core elements of the guitar and quickly adapted each exercise to my level. Extremely attentive and helpful, Nick's style of teaching is all encompassing in that he teaches you not only technique and theory, but also how to practice it effectively and how to apply it in everyday settings.
He was a great and fun teacher who took me from a knowing nothing about guitar playing to being able to shred solos.
I have been interested in learning to play guitar for a long time. My son who is going to be a senior was also interested in picking up the bass guitar in order to take a Rock Band class in school. Being a busy mom, I needed someone who could come to our house as well as be flexible with scheduling lessons. Lonny does both of these and is very reasonable with his fee. My son and I both have played piano and 1 other instrument each so that rhythm and reading notes came easier for us. But Lonny took me pretty far in the first couple of lessons that I was able to play notes on all 6 strings and therefore beautiful classical guitar songs with notes and chords in the treble and bass clefs. He is currently working with my son on syncopation. I'm confident that he has listened to my son's goals and will have him ready to be comfortable playing in Rock Band once school starts.
I have only had one lesson so far but he understood that I wanted to jump into the fire so to speak, and we hit the ground running.I was actually surprised how much we were able to fit into one hour and though we move fast he still make sure that I was retaining the information and provided me with copies of the materials used during the lesson. I would not have a problem recommending him to any beginner or intermediate studentor someone that just want to brush up on the basics
Offering valuable insight, Adam provided me the boost I needed to take my playing to the next level. His calm demeanor and creative outlook on the bass broadened my skill set in an enjoyable manner. Thanks!!
