- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I start working with a new client, I always start with a phone call to learn a little bit more about them. We talk through things like typical exercise patterns, fitness goals, and injuries or medical considerations. We also talk about the types of workouts you enjoy and the type of music you listen to while we move. I try to make these sessions as fun as possible which means traveling with my portable speaker and arsenal of mobile equipment. At our first session, we will mainly focus on bodyweight exercises. I want to see how your body moves and create a baseline for our future sessions. From there, I will know what level and intensity to continue our training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 200hr RYT yoga instructor that has been teaching in the Nashville area for over 2 years now. I have also been a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine since February of 2020. As a life long athlete and fitness junkie, I love working with others to see them achieve thier goals in a sustainable, positive, and customized environment. Every workout we do together is created specifically for you with your needs and abilities in mind. These strategies will allow you to maintain motivation and help to set you up for an active lifestyle.
