Aaron was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He communicated often and pricing and timeline was clear and accurate. The crew was timely, professional, and did a quality job. The project included removal of grass and installation of weed barrier, pet quality turf, a putting green, a steel retaining wall, decomposed granite, and river rock. We would absolutely hire again for future projects and recommend Southern Turf to family and friends.

So, my house has a nice shady backyard. The only downside is…..grass doesn’t grow well in shade. My husband and I tried to grow several different grasses with no luck. We ended up with a dirt yard and when it rained, a muddy yard. Frustrated, we decided to get an estimate on artificial grass just to see if it was something we could afford. We decided on Southern Turf because of all the great reviews we read. I set up an appointment and Aaron Hamilton came to meet with us. He was on time and extremely nice and personable. He asked us what we wanted, and I showed him a picture I had drawn of my dream backyard. He took some measurements and showed us the different turf samples he had, and we chose the one we liked best. Aaron got back to us with the estimate by the next day. We were really surprised that it was going to cost way less than we had expected. We set a date for installation and Aaron gave us his personal cell phone number. This meant that we could communicate with him directly and didn’t have to call the office and leave a message every time we needed to talk to him. This was great because we got rained out twice and had to reschedule. Both times Aaron communicated with us quickly and we set up a new date, hoping the weather would cooperate. When the installation finally took place, Aaron and his crew showed up on time and worked the whole day. Our yard was done in two days! Aaron and his crew were very polite and respectful and cleaned up the debris afterward. When I saw my yard for the first time I almost cried! It is so beautiful! No more weeds and dirt/mud. Our dogs LOVE it and have been running around happy as can be. We are so happy we chose Southern Turf and that we were able to work with Aaron and his crew. I would highly recommend this company and their team to anyone.

We are so happy with our brand-new Putting Green! Aaron and team were amazing. Very responsive, accommodating and worked with us as we changed our mind. He came out twice before the install to make sure we had what we wanted. The install team led by Sergio was fantastic and showed up right when Aaron said they would. They kept me informed throughout the day and when it was time to pick the hole locations, Sergio knocked on the door and had me come out. After the install, they cleaned up the entire yard and you couldn’t tell they were there except for the new putting green. Aaron stopped by after the installation to make sure I was completely satisfied with the look of it as well as the install process. I would recommend Southern Turf and Aaron if you are looking for a putting green, and I am sure they are just as amazing for artificial turf.

We cannot say enough great things about Southern Turf Co! This was our second time using them for a project because they did such an amazing job the first time around. Aaron and his crew managed to complete the project in one day, including adding a putting green for us to play with. Aaron even came out about a week after the project completed to personally take care of some turf anchors that were pulling up. Now, instead of a dead area filled with wood chips, we have a prime play area for our kids to grow up with!

Southern Turf Co is a competitively priced artificial turf installation company in the Austin area. We keep our overhead low so we can afford to offer quality products and best in class installations. We offer specials each month to give each customer an opportunity to save money on their install.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer free no-obligation estimates 7 days a week. We visit with each customer and explain the process of turf installation. Southern Turf Co has a wide variety of turf options. We bring a traveling sample board of our most popular turfs. Once we understand your needs and how you plan to use the turf we create a detailed bid while on site. Once you select Southern Turf Co, we have the materials delivered to the house and the install typically takes 2-3 days to complete.
