Introduction: I absolutely love sharing my passion for dance with others. I’ve traveled the world learning a variety of different dance styles and I’m equally thrilled to work with an individual on a private lesson, a group of 100 people, and anything in between. I believe the dancing should be accessible to all and have made it my life‘s work to help people fall in love with dancing.

My husband and I hired Robbie to help us with our wedding first dance. We had time constraints but Robbie was able to get started with us right away and was flexible with our schedules! She is an excellent teacher and skillfully adapts her teaching methods to resonate with her students, especially since neither of us had much experience with partner dancing. We gained SO much more in one lesson with her than 4 weeks of group lessons elsewhere. We booked four classes in total and had a ton of compliments on our first dance, but most importantly we felt good and comfortable on the dance floor! I recommend Robbie to anyone looking to learn or clean up a dance and to couples who need help with a first dance. Hire her! She’s wonderful!

Details: Two (ex. me and my partner) • First dance • What my teacher recommends • No, I do not have choreography in mind • Beginner • My home, venue, etc.

Robbie has made dancing, and teaching it, her life's focus. With her you'll get a true professional who loves the music, the movement, the community, and the students. My experience with her has mostly been with salsa (reworking my basic, improving leading & connection with partner, musicality, Afro-Cuban, making on-2 more solid, spins - really everything salsa). Also with kizomba and recently bachata, where she really emphasizes "real" Dominican style. For all of these, Robbie will bring you completely up-to-date guidance: she attends boot camps, she travels across the US, Caribbean, and Europe to dance where each style is most alive, attending congresses, taking lessons from the best, and having fun with others who live and live the dance just like her. She has invested deeply. Personality-wise, I've seen her adapt group lessons seamlessly to all kinds of people - their levels and personalities. She's warm, fun, and friendly but organized and structured, with a goal: professional. In a private lesson, she is so observant that she catches the half-second things I do that mess me up. She's so solid in leading and following that she can also show me how to fix it. Mostly she loves dancing and wants you to experience that too!!

I take 2 classes (Salsa and Bachatta) with her and have also had 5 private lessons so far. She is fun, engaging and manages to explain things in a way that I can understand without knowing anything about the Music or having a sense of Rythm.

Robbie’s dance classes are always great - she is patient, passionate and accommodating of everyone’s levels (whether dancing or comfort). 5 stars!

Robbie is an absolutely incredible instructor. Her salsa privates have been super helpful for improving my timing, body movement, musicality and frame. She is skilled at working with students at any level. If you want an instructor who is going to teach you the nuances of salsa or bachata, that is Robbie
