- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My one hour party rate is higher than my two or more hour party rate. I also offer a 90 minute rate. I have a slight discount in January and February.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I treat all my clients with respect and gratitude, whether it is their first time booking me or fifth. I get all pertinent info up front so there are no miscommunications and prefer to speak on the phone if there are areas that are unclear.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a make up artist for a large interactive non profit for about 7 years. The head of the department was one of the best face painters and body artists I have seen and he taught me a lot of makeup tips, and urged me into face painting. There are no schools or certifications in this industry, but I am a true professional in that I carry insurance, use only FDA approved products for faces, attend conventions, continuously study and practice to improve, and I take pride in my work and my business.
