Cody G. says, "Jorge responded promptly and came out to for a visit to give a quote. The quote was accurate with the end payment and good value. Jorge was also flexible with our schedule. We had a tub faucet that was leaking and needed a new valve. The job required moving a vanity, cutting out some Sheetrock then replacing the value and shower trim. Once completed the vanity and Sheetrock were put back in place. An added bonus was the installation of shutoff valves in the wall so we won’t need to turn the water off for the whole building (our unit is in a condo complex) in the future if these lines need work. Would recommend."See more

Andrew R. says, "What I really appreciate about Nick: 1. Response time. Hot water was out on a Saturday, Nick responded right away and did what he said he’d do when he said he’d be there. 2. Recommendations. Nick made appropriate recommendations without over/up-selling. My existing water heater was 14 years old and rusting/corroding. Nick made great recommendations to fit a variety of budgets without being pushy or salesy. I loved and respected that. 3. Quality of work/value. I decided to use Nick to replace water heater. He added an expansion tank and drilled through foundation for relief line. Most plumbers are not a one stop shop/one man show like Nick is. Good plumbers are hard to find. I didn’t comparison shop/price because I could tell I trusted Nick and he will stand behind his work. If scale goes to 11, Nick is an 11+."See more

Mango Plumbing
Mango Plumbing
My gas water heater gave out unexpectedly. Turned the pilot light back on and overnight it went out again. No hot water. Got on my trusty Thumbtack app and put in a description of my issue and waited.
Mango Plumbing was the third to respond but they offered the best pricing and they had no service call fee. They were a little late in arriving due to unforeseen circumstances at the job they had before me. However, once Jonah and Eli arrived, the diagnosis was in and in just a short 10 min span, I was provided with a couple of quotes to choose from. I opted to buy the supplies myself (at my local hardware store) and Jonah and Eli installed the water heater, the missing ceiling, the reservoir (which was not on the old tank and brought me up to current code), new piping (whoever installed the previous water heater, bent the pipe which caused leakage over the last 12 years. That made the top of the heater rust over.), the drip pan underneath the tank, tested the connections, the ventilation atop the heater to ensure it was doing its job, and showed me how to operate the new system.
Mango Plumbing is a new company with only 5 months of operations behind it, however the positive energy, friendly attitude, friendly banter, expertise and know how are well above what you would expect from a company so new. They arrived shortly after 4pm and did not leave until almost 9pm ensuring that the old unit was picked up, area was policed for loose parts and pieces and cleaned up and left how it was found.
Expertise. Proficient. Professional. That pretty much sums up Mango Plumbing and more specifically the work that Jonah and Eli provided. They have my business from now on.

T-HORN PLUMBING & CONST. INC
T-HORN PLUMBING & CONST. INC
Ben installed a premium Rinnai tankless water heater. He responded within hours of my request for service and was on the job replacing my dead water tank within 18 hours. Considering I couldn't get any service for weeks from several plumbers, and another strung me out for a week promising "tomorrow . . . tomorrow " with no follow-up Ben was the complete opposite. He does as he promises and was on time. I should also add that his assistant was polite, bright, and personable.

This was not a simple job. My old tank wouldn't drain without special effort. (And he took it away with him.) Using the existing vent hole (with a newer/bigger vent) would require (steep) roof walking. Gas pipe extension and working with poorly configured electrical would have driven most installers into excuses, delays and added costs. This project was done in a very long day; Ben wasn’t leaving without completing the job. And, with not a penny of added costs. Integrity is hard to find these days.

After a long day sweating in my attic Ben took the time to show me how to clean out unusually difficult-to-remove faucet aerators blocking my water flow. This is the guy you want to hire for the jobs no one else will do.
