We hired Jack to install a new water heater at the house. Jack was awesome! He even helped us pick up the water heater at Lowe's since it didn't fit in our car, and after updating the connections in the house, hauled the old water heater away. I definitely recommend Jack and would hire him again for future projects!

Jack and his crew get mostly Five-Star reviews because they earn those stars. I had two water heaters replaced. The three-person team arrived on time in a very nice box truck that is essentially a fully-equipped rolling workshop. They got right to work and the install was completed in a timely manner without a hitch. The workmanship and attention to detail was particularly impressive. Both water heaters are working perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Money well spent.

Connley Cannon and Gregory showed up promptly at 9:00 am and finished removing the old water heater and installing the new water heater to meet City of Austin codes at around 10:30 am.

I'm very pleased with the timing and the work they did.

They were very respectful and kept me informed of everything during the installation. Glad my wife found out about Thumbtack to place the job for bidding as we prefer supporting an independent whenever we can.

He was also a few hundred dollars cheaper than all the other bids I received!

These folks saved my life today. We own a rent house and the water heater went out unexpectedly. Maury and Melissa were there the next day, picked up the new unit, installed it, hauled away the old unit and did an additional install of another appliance on the fly. Highly recommended. Our tankless water heater got a massive clog in it, resulting in no hot water throughout the house. After a less than stellar experience with another company, I called Weekend Water Heater late that evening and set up an appointment for the morning.

Tim came to the house right on time and took a look at the unit. After I explained the situation he asked some clarifying questions about the type of work I might seek, whether it was limited to repair or would include replacement. We agreed to try a flush and go from there. The flush was unsuccessful.

At this point, the estimate for diagnosing and correcting the problem was starting to become a significant portion of the cost of a new replacement unit. I decided to pursue the replacement. During this process there were no high pressure sales tactics.

Tim left to gather the hardware and came back a little later in the day to complete the install. The workmanship was great! He replaced some copper flex tubing and put in fittings along with new inlet/outlet and service valves. He installed a drain that had been missing with the prior unit.

Later that night we noticed that our master shower had flow issues and also that the exhaust from the water heater would vibrate loudly. Fortunately, after a call to Weekend Water Heater, we got those issues resolved quickly and at no extra cost.

I thought Tim did great work and was super easy to work with.

We got estimates for replacement from two other companies and WWH was the best by a longshot.

We reached out to him for installation of water heater at our condo. Here is what he told “Labor and hauling off old unit runs you 1,500 with new unit. If you just want labor that runs you about 750.00”. This was given to us after I sent some six pictures. But after seeing it he quoted 1500 just for installation and haul away and not the new unit. It was very disappointing that we were misinformed by him wasting a lot of time. We were clearly not told the truth.

Ben installed a premium Rinnai tankless water heater. He responded within hours of my request for service and was on the job replacing my dead water tank within 18 hours. Considering I couldn't get any service for weeks from several plumbers, and another strung me out for a week promising "tomorrow . . . tomorrow " with no follow-up Ben was the complete opposite. He does as he promises and was on time. I should also add that his assistant was polite, bright, and personable.

This was not a simple job. My old tank wouldn't drain without special effort. (And he took it away with him.) Using the existing vent hole (with a newer/bigger vent) would require (steep) roof walking. Gas pipe extension and working with poorly configured electrical would have driven most installers into excuses, delays and added costs. This project was done in a very long day; Ben wasn’t leaving without completing the job. And, with not a penny of added costs. Integrity is hard to find these days.

After a long day sweating in my attic Ben took the time to show me how to clean out unusually difficult-to-remove faucet aerators blocking my water flow. This is the guy you want to hire for the jobs no one else will do.
