Christian Mccollum is an outstanding producer/musician/and recording technician! He knows his stuff and will make sure you get the sound you want at a reasonable price without ever compromising the artists own view. He is awesome to work with and my band and I have loved every second of it. Our EP is about to be released through Dream Harbor studios later this week and we couldnt be more excited for it! Chris did an amazing job with our first single and the EP is sounding incredible! Dream Harbor is a small company but it wont be long until its a household name, with their quality, reliability, friendliness and professionalism Chris Mccollum and DH are on their way to the top. Its been an absolute blast and privilege to work with Chris and get to know his band and family just as theyve gotten to know us. It has gone beyond just business and now Chris has become a good friend who we can make jokes with, go see shows with he and his awesome Wife Marianne, and jam with! I would recommend this studio to any artist of any genre of music, Chris works with just about all styles and does outstanding work with incredible attention to detail. We cant wait to come back and record our first full length album! Burn The Reign supports Dream Harbor 100%! We love you Chris!

Ross approaches each kiddo individually. Gives them opportunity to MAKE MUSIC, not just learn to play an instrument. That is what is different and special about his business. And I speak cause we've been to a few other studios and have smth to compare to. From the very beginning my son was playing, singing and making small performances (age 3). Now he is 7 and will be playing as a drummer in the actual band! That is how far we've made it with Ross and kept the love to music along the way.

I've worked with Ed on and off over the last few years. As a player, he is a total pro, able to deliver at a high level across many styles. What I really love about playing with Ed is that he is also a great person - always a positive attitude, punctual and prepared. Ed is my first call when I need a drummer, for both live and studio work. He has also given some drum lessons to my son, providing not just style and technique, but also some great philosophy and guidance about music in general.

Aaron Glemboski is absolutely fantastic. I read a book titled "Quintessential Cool People to Make Your Music Sound Awesome" and Aaron Glemboski was the only name listed in it. Ever since then, I knew he was right for my project. In all seriousness, I found out about him from Thumbtack! I called a few people, and they either were not very friendly and obviously didn't love their job anymore or they seemed too old-fashioned in their ways. I can't deal with not friendly for obvious reasons, and I can't do old-fashioned because, well, my music is electronic. Which is anything BUT old fashioned! I saw Aaron's website, and I thought, 'Goodness me, there's no way that I'll be able to afford this man's work. His website is so ridiculously cool and professional looking!'. I called him anyways. He was SO easy to talk to, and he had a sense of humor while still keeping me on-topic (which is difficult). I then asked of his price, and it was very reasonable! THAT is when I really knew he was the right guy for the job. At first, my project was going to be folk. Which was perfect because he does a lot of folk/alternative rock stuff. I then switched my album to be electronic, and I won't lie. I totally wondered "Can Aaron do this? This isn't exactly his specialty." Well he proved me DEAD wrong, because everything has come out spectacularly. If you are folk, he's perfect for you. If you are rock, he's perfect for you. Rap? Perfect. Classical? Perfect. Alternative Punk Polka Electronic with Carribean influence? He's perfect for you. Another thing, is my voice is extremely dynamic. It's just really difficult to record. Of course, Aaron has no problem with it. He's always on time. He emails back very quickly, and works in a speedy manner. He always genuinely cares about your music, and if you like the mix or not. He knows a ton of musicians that are ready to do studio work for you, and has many other resources to share with you. He gives great advice when you want it, and doesn't when you don't want it. But you should always want his advice because he knows what he's talking about. Also he's funny, and just a great person. Pretty much the coolest person ever. Seriously, just stop what you're doing and call him. Or email him if you have social anxiety issues.

His studio was under construction for the date of my voice-over demo recording, so he booked me a studio and we recorded in the time allotted and had it sent off to my producer.

I have been working with Steven Collins and Troubadour Image + Sound since October of 2010. The experience has been nothing short of inspiring; even spiritual sometimes. I began as a timid songwriter with some decent songs. Steven and his team worked with me and have helped me realize those songs to an extent I'd never dreamed possible, even motivated me to continue writing more. The studio is super comfortable, with a certain cozy/medieval vibe that keeps you in the right zone throughout your stay. And everyone I've worked with there has been incredibly talented, while maintaining that modesty that makes them easy to talk to, get along with, work with and even develop lasting friendships. Sometimes Steven will even put on his apron and cook up something killer for dinner. It's all part of the experience, which makes you feel as though you're hanging out in your own living room, collaborating with your friends. Working with Troubadour Image + Sound has taught me so much about my own music and my own talent. Each session is a unique gift, and I'm always looking forward to the next.

I scheduled studio time with Sound Museum. The service was awesome! Josh knows his stuff and was able to verbalize how he would attack my project based on the sound I explained I wanted. Can't wait to see how the music comes out! A+++

Really a beautiful studio to record in- with some gear that no one else in Austin has (what I heard from others) . Kevin and Paul took my original songs and created arrangements for them that turned them into exactly the way I had heard them in my head- but better. The whole experience if professionally recording my songs was completely new to me but a friend mine had used them to record her daughter's pop songs and recommended them highly. It couldn't t have been a more positive experience- I give them 5 stars- and I'll be back!

Ulrich is probably the best guitar instructor I have taken lessons from ever and here is why. Guitarists especially ones that like to play rock love to go fast and tend to develop sloppy techniques. Ulrich teaches you expression and how to make the notes come alive with color and feeling. In just 2 lessons teaching me basic BB King and Santana styles made all the difference and opened a whole new world on guitar for me. Music on any instrument is a journey and to be approached as an explorer.Guys like Satriani and Vai are always exploring and going into deeper dimensions with the sound. Ulrich can help you explore like those guys. The possibilities are endless and Ulrich is a wonderful musician, that has the kindness and patience to get you there relatively quickly. I like that Ulrich makes a CD recording of the lessons for review which has helped me a whole lot. I plan on taking more lessons in 2016 and seeing more of his creations at concerts. Hes one of those musicians that just gets better and better and better and realizes that all the formal schooling and degrees was only the beginning. Definitely worthy of being called a Guitar Guru or Medicine man of the guitar. Yes some can amaze you with the guitar...Ulrich can amaze you and teach you how to do it as well. I'm honored I crossed paths with Ulrich and Sabine Ellison---2 wonderful people I'm blessed to know.

Elliot Liebman exceeds expectations at every turn. This guy has ears like no other. His vocal coaching was very helpful and allowed me achieve my full voice for my recordings. If you're looking for help arranging your song, (strings, woodwinds, brass, vocal harmonies) look no further. To top it all off, he is competent with recording software and instrument/vocal microphone placement. Highly Recommend!

Just... Wow! Paul (the founder/producer) was very professional and punctual from the get go. I needed a short promotional video for my small business, and SASE delivered on my small budget. The production value was comparable to other more expensive production companies in the area. Definitely a 10/10, would recommend.

Caleb is an excellent teacher! He is easy to talk to and great at explaining technical concepts in terms that anyone can understand. Before I found him I'd been working alone on my home studio and everything I recorded sounded great in my headphones but terrible over the speakers. In one afternoon Caleb came to my house and repositioned my workstation so that the mix sounded right and then he showed me how to fix the issues with my software that were causing it to lag and crash a lot. I learned a lot from him about proper mic placement and techniques for recording vocalists and instruments. Having someone explain these things hands on with real mics lets you hear the difference yourself and it's way more helpful than trying to read about it or watch someone else do it on the internet. I highly recommend Caleb for anyone needing help to get over the learning curve in audio production.
