Hi, My name is Brigitte but you can call me Bree— wedding officiant, Registered Nurse, and full-time believer in love. I didn’t set out to become a wedding officiant. It happened the way a lot of great things do—completely by accident. One evening, in the middle of an internet deep dive (researching Reiki, of all things), I stumbled across a way to get ordained. So, naturally, I signed up with the Universal Life Church and boom—I was officially official. Shortly after that, my best friend asked me to officiate her wedding. I said yes, contained my tears and then immediately did it again for my manager (Halloween themed wedding) and another dear friend. Somewhere between the happy tears, the heartfelt vows, and the power vested in me, I was told by all: "this might be your calling." By day, I’m a Registered Nurse—which means I know how to keep calm in a crisis, handle emotions with care, and carry extra tissues in my pocket at all times. By night (and weekends), I’m the person who will show up to your wedding in a dress, suit, a costume, or whatever fits the vibe. I'm all about creating ceremonies that are authentic, inclusive, joyful, and sometimes a little weird in the best possible way. All couples are welcome here. I believe love is love, and every ceremony deserves to be celebrated with the same level of excitement and intention—whether it’s big and bold or intimate and spontaneous.
