Emily Lockard-Furry made our honeymoon dreams a reality!
We worked with Emily to book our honeymoon to Bora Bora. I was on the fence about using a travel agent or just booking the trip myself. I reached out to Traveluxe and from the moment I spoke with Emily, I was at ease. Our wedding had been stressful due to a not ideal wedding planner. So I wanted to make sure our honeymoon went smooth and stress free. Emily was an absolute dream to work with. I asked for way too many quotes but she never batted an eye. She was quick in returning new quotes and itineraries. She recommended an amazing first resort and room that we absolutely loved (and would have never known about without her). And the second resort was just as amazing but in a different way. Even the short plane jumps and boat rides were easier than expected. We were greeted at the airport and guided through the airport with ease. Each hotel made us feel special and welcomed. The itinerary was easy to follow and came with special perks we would not have had without Emily! On our trip she was available 24/7 for any questions. She checked in through out our trip to ensure everything met our expectations. On our way home we had a long layover at the bare bones airport in Tahiti. She sent us to a hotel nearby where she made dinner reservations for us. They had a special table waiting, making our last night relaxing versus being stuck at the airport. These are the special touches you will receive if you use Traveluxe. I’m a very picky person and this dream trip lived up to our all expectations and beyond! We will definitely be using Emily for future trips. I cannot recommend her enough.

Emily has the most expansive knowledge in travel. She is able to quickly curate ideas and itineraries that not only suit a budget but that also speak to interests and lifestyle. She is incredibly responsive and is passionate about making any travel experience special from the first phone call to the return home. You will not be disappointed using Emily for your next trip.

Emily planned a trip for my boyfriend and I to celebrate my birthday. After discussing budget, she sent us several different options for location and resort. Per her recommendation, we stayed in the nicest suite at Atelier in Playa Mujeres, Mexico for 7 days. She absolutely blew us away when we arrived as the resort and room were incredible. There were a couple mix ups in the first day or so of our stay but Emily was easily reachable and fixed everything without question or hesitation. She set up an amazing 6 hour yacht trip for my birthday with a great company who made the day so enjoyable. Emily went above and beyond and really made us feel as though we were VIP clients throughout the entire planning process and trip. She was always available to answer my millions of questions and concerns. We will definitely continue to use Emily for our future travels!!

“The trip was perfect”
Emily, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you did to make our trip of a lifetime so special. You took the needs of 6 different people into consideration and remembered all of our requests to organize a beautiful itinerary. You even remembered a passing comment about one of us needing an extra-large bed and made sure to accommodate that specific need. Even though we knew the itinerary, each day of the trip was full of surprises and even better than the last. From the lovely private tour of London that we would have NEVER booked for ourselves to the last night at Dunstane House with a bottle of wine to welcome each couple, the trip was perfect. We could tell that you had booked us in the best rooms at each location – the view of Edinburgh from our room was phenomenal. We appreciate you getting up in the middle of the night (your time) to help us work through an extra hotel charge and then making sure that everything was set up in each location. In addition to a trip tailored exactly to what we envisioned, we never had to worry about reservations or if an issue might come up because we knew it had all been taken care of ahead of time. I know this trip was not the “normal” vacation that couples take on an island somewhere, but you went above and beyond to ensure that we had the most wonderful experience. Thank you for organizing such a wonderful “holiday” for us.

Emily helped us plan and book the perfect trip to The Maldives. I gave her the criteria we were looking for in a resort, and her recommendation was spot on! Booking was simple, and we were flawlessly taken care of from the time we landed in Male until we boarded the flight back home.
