I first engaged Dr. Lee Enright for tutoring for the GRE's math section. I had been out of school for 20 years and needed a lot of refreshing. He was very great working with me and not making me feel subconscious about my deficiencies. I have made a lot of progress and feel better about the outcome of the test ahead of me. While working with Lee, I engaged Nancy Enright to look over my resume as I needed one for school and for future employment opportunities. She listened to my work history and my goals and it was a truly collaborative exchange. The final product was a Resume that shows me as the most qualified candidate for both graduate school and future employment. I am very satisfied with their help in my new journey. Thank you.
I am the mother of an (now graduated) SMU student. I live in Fort Worth and my daughter attended SMU in Dallas, so Rebecca and I have never met. My girl needed expert help passing Spanish, and I found and contracted with Rebecca for tutoring sight unseen. She met with my daughter regularly and improved her skills and my girl DID pass the class. We owe Rebecca a debt of gratitude and I recommend her without hesitation.
Vincent has been tutoring my son for the past few months. He is patient, thoughtful, and always comes with positive attitude. He is able to lower the stress level and anxiety of preparing for school tests and assignments. He also teaches life skills and techniques of how to prepare for hard tasks at school. I recommend Vincent and am very thankful that he is able to help our family.
Let me preface this all by saying my goal for learning a language is to attain mastery such that I can communicate in all aspects of reading, writing, speaking, listening to a level that is comparable of a native speaker (with reasonable exceptions of course). Previously I had attended several in person learning institutions like a community college, a university, and private in-person tutoring to help me get to an intermediate level. So, in researching other alternatives I was hesitant to pursue telecommuted lessons as I was worried there would be aspects that are not adequately or as easily achieved via in-person teaching. Fluency Corp is a fantastic organization that has ameliorated all of these concerns and done so in an exceptional fashion! The teacher I was paired with is incredibly intelligent, very facilitating, and creates graded work that is at my specific learning level. Additionally any issues we encounter in learning is emphasized in future lessons so that I can hammer out the issues I was experiencing. I purchased 100 hours of education and have been thoroughly please with the experience. So much so that I'm actively looking to see if I can help my spouse participate in this process. I would absolutely recommend it to a friend or family member, and even strangers. The only negative concern I have is that "Fluency Corp" sounds like an evil corporation from a movie. It absolutely is not evil, and is a fantastic organization, however the name just has that kind of feeling to me :)
The quality of the tutoring was top notch that is why we bought a few too many tutoring sessions but they immediately refunded us a couple of hours promptly, with no questions asked. I was very impressed with the service I received. I would not hesitate to recommend Arbor Tutors to all of my friends and family.
Daughter was very hesitant about getting tutoring help, but Michael is pretty laid back and is really helping her understand her geometry homework. Very good at getting her to figure it out with just some prompts if going the wrong direction. Highly recommend him.
Best tutor we've ever had!! sandeep is the best tutor my kids have ever had. we've tried a few different tutors for my kids grades 5, 7, and 11. sandeep helps all of them excellently. he prepares each one of my kids for their classes & exams according to their needs. my 5th grade daughter was struggling in writing and math. sandeep works with her. she loves english and math now. same with my son. our 11th grader scored well in his PSAT thanks to sandeep and he is now getting ready to take his SAT. sandeep also helps him with chemistry and precalculus. he is the best fit for our kids.
She is knowledgeable about what her students need to know. They are her first priority. Patience is important to her.
I got a b in precal because of the tutor!
I personally enjoy Christine Poquet's style of teaching/tutoring. I like how she doesn't consistently translate, which forces me to think in French. I also appreciate the fact that she's French and she's always inviting us to repeat sentences so we can improve our pronounciation of the French language.
Amos tutored me for several weeks leading up to taking the GRE. He was always punctual and very flexible if I had to reschedule due to work conflicts. He's a very patient teacher and really takes the time to break down the concept, slowly building your knowledge until you're able to do the problems. I recommend hiring Amos for GRE tutoring!
To review now is a bit early. We have only done the initial consultation and tutoring will start next week. I was impressed with Monique who came to my house to visit with my daughter and I. Looking forward to a successful relationship.
Laura Gillian has tutored me in Spanish once a week for the last 5 months. She is an excellent and patient teacher. She has an excellent command of the Spanish language and an exceptional talent for teaching it to others. I would recommend her to anyone.
Lee is friendly, flexible and always encouraging. My son enjoys going to him for tutoring.
We were so happy to find Steve to tutor my son in Math. He was exactly what we were looking for. A person to help my son with his homework each week. He has many years of HS teaching experience and he help my son get through Geometry with an A in the class. His rate is in line with tutoring costs. Which is much less than going to these Tutoring places that require you do build your skills through their own programs vs just helping you with your homework. Those places costs thousands of dollars! We will definitely look up Steve next year when my son takes Algebra 2.
My son absolutely loves his tutor! I've seen his grades steadily rise since he started with Club Z and I attribute all of his recent success to his tutor. The staff is very accommodating and easy to interact with.
Valdez was a great tutor! He was very patient and explained everything in a manor that helped me understand the material better. He helped to reinforce and reteach concepts I wasn’t grasping in class!
Ms. Sweat is our new summer reading tutor. Our student struggles in reading, just getting by in 4th grade with in-school tutoring. Going into 5th Grade is going to be a big change; more classes, more teachers, more books and a middle school locker in addition to sports and band! We want to make sure he is ready for the new year and starts off strong. We have met with Ms. Sweat twice so far and plan to meet twice a week over the summer. She is kind and knowledgeable and our student is working well with her.
My Son has been tutoring by Ms. Laura Schrengohst for his 4th grade school year. I love the way She deals with my Him because my Son got ADHD syndrome even as a mother I myself find it hard to help him with his homework. Her thoughtfulness and patience brought him the love of learning. He got good grades in math and less struggle in reading and writing as He always did in his previous school years. I would recommend Ms.Schengosht .
I am a retired teacher. I still enjoy working with students. I have taught all subjects. My favorite subjects are math and algebra I.
