Hired 2 bartenders, a DJ & 5 servers from these guys for my wedding. They greatly exceeded my exceeded my expectations. Everyone went above and beyond. And for the price they charged. Extremely affordable. I looked at other reputable companies, not on this website of course, and they all charged at least $20-40 more per hour. I knew this site is mainly a contractors/freelancers website, and I will say the other quotes were tempting to hire. But after talking to Chris I really felt he really cared about my event, and not just my money. His price was very close to the others, his staff were very punctual, professional, enjoyable to be around & he saved me around $300 with my liquor/mixer purchase! Actually, my wedding coordinator forgot to get the glasses ready for the toast, but the bartenders were already on it, they quickly grabbed all the glasses i bought and got them around right in time. DJ kept my guests dancing all night, did MC services, and did allot of requests. Servers got all the courses around to every guests got and fresh, and kept everyone's drink full. I had two very intricate cocktails & the bartenders made them amazingly. Bartenders even rationed the mixers all night so i wouldn't run out, and didn't open any bottles i didn't use. So i got about $200 back from liquor store i purchased at. I received 4 other quotes, and I could have received 10 more, but I'm very happy i chose this company. Literally can't think of anyone who would do better and I will always hire them for all my house parties and events I do. I have included some photographs our photographer took during the event

I was EXTREMELY impressed with Karens professionalism, attention to detail, and her affordability. I hired her 2 days before my daughters wedding to prepare a morning breakfast. Roy was incredibly helpful, professional, flexible, and most importantly: made great food! We had a small wedding on Lake Austin in July and wanted "upscale BBQ." We ordered wood-fired brisket from a vendor, but we worked with Roy to create a fresh menu of sides that would appeal to a wide array of appetites, from kids (mac and cheese with a twist), to Vegans, to gluten free. He provided all servingware and utensils, and was there to set up and serve, and help with clean-up. I would highly recommend Roy for any of your needs!

Choosing Audrey to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we have ever made! Not only was she diligent about reaching out and coordinating our ideas, wishes and style before the wedding and even helped me to make a timeline for the big day, during the wedding she was AMAZING in every way! She arrived before the wedding and was encouraging and helped us with carrying messages and items to the groom and groomsmen as we were all getting ready whilst taking photos, she was there at every point to take great photos during the ceremony and when it came to family and group photos, she was amazing in working with everyone, down to the little ones! She made me feel truly carefree and beautiful during all the photo shoots and was very quick at posing us in the right ways and communicating clearly. I can't WAIT to see what the photos themselves look like! Audrey is not only a great photographer, but is a joy to work with as well! I'd highly recommend her for any sort of photography!

Amanda was a fantastic coordinator for my very DIY wedding! I thought I could handle everything myself, but as the date approached and I was completely overwhelmed, Amanda came to the rescue. We met several times to make sure things would go smoothly across all of our various venues and she kept the communication lines open. She was organized, thorough, and wonderful to work with. Even when there was a glitch with the sound equipment, Amanda kept things moving and made the night perfect. We couldn't have done it without her!

Bekah worked as the event planner for my wedding in 2014. I pulled in an event planner fairly late in the process and Bekah did a great job with moving forward with things I had set in motion. She was incredibly responsive and patient with me, the bride, but took charge with the vendors and managing all of that. On the day of the wedding she did a great job of shielding me from the chaos. I would recommend Bekah and would also use her for other events.

Jane was my "day of coordinator" for my wedding. She helped look at contracts and ran the rehearsal prior to our big day. Our venue had a coordinator in our package but the day would have fallen apart if it wasn't for Jane. She was amazing and fun to work with. I felt completely at ease knowing that she had everything under control. It was pouring rain on our wedding day and she helped make the decision to keep the ceremony inside. It ended up being the right decision and the day ran so smoothly. Our guests didn't even know the ceremony was originally suppose to be outside. As stressful as a wedding day can be and with bad weather to boot, it could have been a disaster. With Jane, our day was wonderful and stress free. I can't say enough positive things about her! She went above and beyond our expectations. Working with her was the best decision I made while planning our wedding!

Michelle exceeded all of our expectations as far as her responsiveness, creativity and professionalism in planning our wedding. She is extremely friendly and truly cares about what she does. She went far beyond to make our day special and free of stress. She even helped us tremendously with our rehearsal dinner and to find ways to make the trip memorable to the many guests that we had attend from out of town. Lauren was a miracle worker and made our wedding day phenomenal. You should absolutely hire her for your wedding planning and coordinating needs. We originally hired “the best” local wedding planner who was highly recommended by the venue for our wedding last October. After two meetings with the original planner, it became apparent to us that she was disorganized, tardy to meetings, and we were not comfortable with her planning/coordinating our big day. We decided she was not the right fit and dismissed her, however our wedding was now 6 weeks away with no planner/coordinator and I was FREAKED out. Lauren and I have been friends since high school and literally 30 minutes after we dismissed “the best” wedding planner, an idea popped into my head of asking Lauren. Not only was Lauren thrilled but she always wanted to coordinate a wedding, I was so relieved. Lauren handled all of the major movements for us, she coordinated with all of our vendors and the venue. She also organized and led the wedding rehearsal the night prior. On the day of our wedding, she was up bright and early setting up the hall and coordinating everything. I promise you that this is an unbiased review and I am not just talking her up because she is my friend. Lauren made our wedding day run smoothly and I would highly recommend her for any of your wedding needs.

Keye’s guidance and suggestions made our wedding day truly stress free. She was organized and took care of everything on the big day. She had wonderful vendor recommendations and the food was to die for! Her attention to detail allowed not only my husband and me to enjoy the day, but also our families and wedding party. Keye and her assistant handled all the organization and printing of the seating chart, place cards, and menus, had cocktails and hors d’oeuvres waiting for us post ceremony so we could enjoy a few minutes alone. Lindsay is amazing at what she does. She was with me every step of the way when planning my wedding. She has lots of connections; so it was easy to fit my budget. My wedding budget was pretty tight.     What does a wedding event coordinator do?

Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner. When looking for a wedding planner, be sure to read reviews, and make smart hiring decisions by asking about licenses and insurance.

    How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

    A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place.     What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

    When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

    • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
    • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
    • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
    • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

    Do you have a portfolio? Ask to see photos of their favorite weddings, especially if they’ve managed any that are similar to what you have in mind. This will help you see if you like their style and if their ideas seem fresh and creative.

    Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

    Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

    • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
    • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
    • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
    • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.   
    • Checking floor plans, lighting levels, cake placement, menus, favors and more.
    • Collecting the wedding gifts and keeping personal items safe and accounted for.
