I am a 53 year old working mom and runner. I injured my knee and leg running in October. My doctors have told me not to run until they can diagnosis the problem. In an attempt to maintain my level of fitness I started working out with Michelle mid-November. Michelle has been outstanding in working with me and my doctors. She has been incredibly creative and so encouraging. She has introduced me to Yoga and strength training. I had never done either and it has been such a fun and exciting journey leaning and trying new things. Michelle has more confidence in me than I do in myself and she is always pushing and encouraging me to succeed! I am having such a fun time learning new things! With Michelle's guidance I have gained an amazing amount of strength, flexibility and balance. My sessions with her have also been diagnostic. We have discovered weaknesses that I am able to report to my doctors. My goal is to hopefully be able to resume running one day. I hope that with Michelle’s help and the doctors that I will be able to achieve that goal. Until that time I am having a blast with Yoga and strength training and doing things that I never would have been able to do without her help. So far it has been an exciting, educational and successful journey to fitness and health! Thank you again for your assistance.

Michelle is the most professional, experienced fitness coach with whom I've ever worked. She is very personable and it is quite obvious that she loves her work. She always shows up to each session with a carefully prepared plan. She stays 100% focused on my performance and form, greatly reducing the risk of injury. Even though it is hard work, I look forward to each session with her because she somehow manages to keep it fun. Michelle has also helped me to make healthy choices in my diet. With her coaching, I have surpassed all of my personal expectations. Overall, I feel better than I have in years and I have a new sense of self-confidence. I would recommend Michelle to anyone, even seniors like myself, who want to improve their health and fitness.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first order of business when I start working with a new fitness partner is to learn about his or her fitness and health goals. I need to find out where they are starting and what obstacles they have been struggling with so far. I will assess my new fitness partner's starting point and we will continually assess progress.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have a wide variety of fitness partners. I relate a great deal to women from 30-55 who are looking to lose weight and feel better about themselves. I work well with the older generation 55+ years old. I enjoy seeing these fitness partners improve their quality of life through physical activity and better nutrition.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    First, I want you to know that you are not just a customer to me. Once we start working together, we are fitness partners. As partners, I will hold you accountable to your health and fitness goals. We will work hard and you will see results.
