I can't say enough good things about Jana and the service she provides. Our family, 12 people in total, had decided that we wanted to go to Cancun for our parent's 50th anniversary celebration. We were struggling to figure out all of the logistics as we have family members traveling from multiple cities. We are also very picky and wanted to stay at a specific resort on specific dates. I reached out to Jana and she took the reigns immediately, didn't question our ideas and found us a great price, great flights, and everything else we wanted. We should've booked that moment but getting 12 family members to commit took a little convincing. Long story short, by the time we were ready to book, the prices had gone up drastically. At this point we were pretty mortified, but Jana jumped in again, made some minor last minute changes that got us back on track and back to the original awesome pricing. We booked the trip and we are now all looking forward to an amazing vacation in Cancun next summer. Jana is great and we will definitely reach out to her for all of our future vacation plans!!!

I had no idea where to start except where I wanted to go, but Jana at Aggieland Travel Guru basically held my hand and got me exactly what I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday in Cancun! She made sure I knew the vibe of the hotel so it matched what I wanted, got me the room and flights I wanted! Now November needs to get here fast! Painless and convenient as I prefer to have things emailed or texted so I can focus and know exactly what I'm signing up for. She made sure I got the right options in every case imaginable! Really grateful I came across this!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My service is free to the client! The hotels, cruise companies, resorts pay me, thus I do not charge my clients anything extra. There are only a few things I have a very small service fee for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Having a brief discussion via phone, email or chat to discuss what they hope to obtain out of a vacation. My goal is to provide several options that meet and exceed their wishes while still staying within or under budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended several hundred hours of travel agent training including vendor specific (such as Marriott, Carnival, Club Med, etc), as well as general travel industry training, both in person and online. I also have been in the customer service industry for over 30 years, and serving the customer is my passion, which is the main reason I love being a travel agent.
