Drive Coach Tutoring Services

Introduction: I’m a drive coach tutor (behind the wheel only and practice only, and you must have learner’s license). You’ll have to pay a minimum $25 dollars to hold a place in class. We offer driving lessons to teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18, and adults. We have taught many students to drive the busy Texas roads. During the lessons, you will drive a well-maintained and insured vehicle equipped with an auxiliary brake for the instructor. If you have your permit and feel you need more practice before taking the road test, we can help. If you just need practice or have never been behind the wheel, we can help. Lesson 1 - Outside check of the car; pre-drive procedures; briefing on gauges, instruments and controls; hand-over-hand steering; releasing parking brake, shifting to reverse, backing out or parking space; backing in a straight line, to left to right; pulling to and from curb; neighborhood driving Lesson 2 - Warm-up with neighborhood driving; establish space management; estimate and maintain following distance; demonstrate and practice driving in reverse and straight lines; practice city driving (lane position and changes, making turns at lights) Lesson 3 - Two-point and three-point turns; lane changes; U-turns; angle and perpendicular parking; more city driving Lesson 4 - Parallel parking; U-turns Lesson 5 - Country roads, including roads with no curbs, no dividing lines, narrow road curves, hills, blind spots, potholes, etc.; inclement weather, darkness Lesson 6 - Introducing the Freeway, includes entering and exiting, lane changes, recognizing blind spots and more Lesson 7 - Review and test over lessons one to seven Requirements: Students must have learner's license. This is behind the wheel only. I do not offer the classroom instruction. The following is a list of my package deals: - $60 per lesson - $100 for two lessons - $160 for three lessons - $200 for four lessons Each lesson is approximately one hour and 15 minutes. You can customize lessons to fit your needs. We will pick your student up for drive times. You will not have to make any adjustments to your schedule or worry about how your student will get back and forth to class. We’re now enrolling for spring and summer classes! You must make a reservation to hold your place in a class.
