Introduction
My yoga teaching philosophy is to honor who you are and your body. I believe each student should adjust a pose for their body versus adjusting their body into an unnatural pose. Adjustments are what make it your authentic yoga practice. I am here as a guide on your journey. I love helping others feel more confident and realizing they are enough by just being themselves.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I constantly go to new workshops and training to advance my skills and learn more about yoga. I am also being mentored by Jennifer Hensley, owner of Lotus Yoga in Lakewood.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was experiencing chronic stress and anxiety from my corporate job. Yoga became something I did for myself everyday to help reduce both my stress and anxiety. I noticed my thought patterns started to change by applying yoga philosophy to my daily life. I realized it doesn’t matter if you fall out of a pose or that a pose does not look a certain way, what matters is that you try to your best ability and keep going when you fall. I believe the real yoga begins off of the mat. Living and practicing this philosophy has taught me compassion; compassion for myself and compassion for others.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I can teach anything from a power/Vinyasa flow to a restorative/deep stretch class. I have also trained with Tara Kristof in Prenatal yoga.
