When a diagnostic is performed and you proceed with the repair, that amount is applied as a credit toward the repair — it is not an additional charge. We advertise a $0 service fee because we do not charge for dispatch or arrival. Diagnostics are only offered when a repair cannot be responsibly quoted sight-unseen, which is standard in the industry. If you are seeking a flat quote for a repair that can be confirmed without inspection, we’re happy to review that. Otherwise, we won’t provide pricing guesses that could be inaccurate or misleading.
