FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, in fact, I am about to start a class designed for online teachers. Moreover, since I live outside of Italy, I always stay current on Italian news and do as much reading in Italian as possible. I also like to compare notes with colleagues and participate in Italian forums. Plus, I have to admit that I learn every day from my students; from their questions and from their suggestions.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a private teacher the prospective student needs to make sure the teacher's style of teaching and personality match his/her own. Therefore, the best way to choose a teacher is to ask for a trial lesson. Ask even when the teacher does not mention anything about free trial lessons in his/her post. I am sure most teachers won't mind at all. As far as studying a foreign language, the best advice I can give is: go for it, don't be afraid to make mistakes and to look silly, because you don't. We are here to TEACH you, if you we already good at it, you wouldn't need our help. Good luck!
