Everything went smoothly and as expected. A guy by the name of Aaron Carpenter engineered my project and did a fantastic job on recording and mixing. From top to bottom my single was recorded, mixed and finalized in under 2 hours. The actual recording of all vocals took 10 minutes. Of course, knowing ones lyrics always determines the amount of time at this stage We spent the remainder of time fine tuning the mix. I specialize in rap music and Mr. Aaron Carpenter has a really good ear on the mix down. He heard a few imperfections and clashes in the vocals that slipped by myself even and he fixed them up in a snap literally. I walked away a satisfied customer with a really good broadcast ready product. I've recorded tons of songs over the years in various studios throughout the country and I truly have to admit that the sound quality I got here at Fifty50 studios ranks amongst the tops. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

I recorded with Aaron this past weekend and this experience was hands down the best I've had thus far here in Dallas. First off, the tour I received from Todd was amazing the studio is in a central location so knowing my way around the city helped me find it easy. While touring Todd was very professional,he answered all my questions eagerly and he even gave me a heads up as far as scheduling. I am a morning person so I scheduled a morning session with Fifty50 and we rocked!! Aaron was my engineer and he was amazing!! I wasnt sure if I was going to have time to record all of the tracks I had laid out but we did it and even had time to write an unexpected verse for a track I didn't plan on finishing. The energy in the yo got me outside of my box and I enjoyed the 4 hours. It was well worth the money spent so yes needless to say I will def be going back to record at Fifty50 again and I recommend this studio to any musician.

This is a real review, from a real artist. Who I am is not important to most, but on the day of shooting my first music video, I felt as if I was the artist that I have always visioned in my thoughts, my mind, in my dreams. Mr. Cotham reminded me of why I started doing this so many years ago. After doing something for so long, and not seeing the results you know that you can obtain, defeat can start to creep in. You start to believe that maybe you are not that good at what you are doing. Todd added lighter fluid to that flame that seemed to be burning out.
I thought it was going to be a simple video shoot at the park, but Todd turned it into a movie about my life. The neighborhood I grew up in was the location, so he had all the genius ideas to make it work. I can not make this whole review about Todd though. His assistant, and forgive me if Andy is not your name, but the work that he provided was outstanding. He must get his positive review as well.
The job only took a few hours, the professionalism display by the two was so mature and right down to business, with making you comfortable in the process. Todd was there before me, checking out the location for ideas to shoot. The quality of the work was 5 star. What could Todd do better in the future? This may sound cheesy, scripted, or whatever you want to label it as, but I have no complaints. I know from here on out, who I will be shooting my visuals with.

Todd and Aaron did a fantastic job recording our band. We threw them some curves and they knocked them over the fence! These guys know all of the old school organic studio tricks plus the digital cutting edge technological wizardry! Russ Berger designed studio with the high end mics to capture the sounds which the space was designed to create.... (great drum room...shhh don't tell anyone)

I booked a session to finish 2 trax. The engineer Josh is a beast, he made the song come out better than what I expected. From what I saw was a true professional that takes pride in bringing out the best quality of a song.
