- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a wedding officiant because it brings me great joy to see two people in love become united in marriage. I like to take the worry out of it all and provide a calm, pleasant, blissful experience. As well it should be!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently married a couple who had known each other 25 years ago...she already had 6 young children and they were all included in the wedding...it was indeed a special day!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet with them personally...a professional minister or officiant will require a contract, which ensures you can count on them. They won't bow out at the last minute and leave you stranded. They will charge a fair fee for their services which respects their commitment to your wedding and the skills and experience they bring. This is no time to shop for a bargain! Your ceremony is the heart and soul of your wedding.
