Lauren was excellent! She covered everything from potty training to obedience and made sure we understood the whyâs behind it. She had my pup sitting and listening in the first 2 minutes. We signed him up for 5 additional classes. I canât wait to work with Lauren while I continue to grow and bond with my Chihuahua!
I brought my dog to K9 Kountry for obedience training, agility training and protection training. Butch took the time to understand my expectations and desired outcomes for the 3 types of training requested. He tailored a training program based upon the breed, age and an assessment of the communication/respect between me and my dog. I have been very impressed with the results and continued my training with Butch and his team to bring my dog to levels I did not think were possible. The discipline and obedience the dog displays are amazing...all while still being a great pet and protector. It isn't often you find somebody with the experience, PATIENCE and knowledge to understand you and your dog and how best to get the 2 of you to interact. My dog absolutely loves going to training and acts like a kid on Christmas morning when we pull into K9 Kountry
Mr. Mouton was hired to train our 4 month old puppy (and us) on basics. Our puppy had not yet demonstrated any "bad behaviors" but we definitely wanted him to start out with a firm foundation of leash walking and obedience. Maury took him in for 2 weeks and delivered a calm and obedient dog to us at the conclusion.
The last hour with Lynette was wonderful, she’s awesome teaching my dog & daughter! Thank you, I’m looking forward to next week.
Nancy has been such a life saver for my husband and I! She has only been working with our puppy, Remi for a month now, and I can already see such a huge difference in her behavior, manners, and obedience. The part I love most is that she meets at your home. Meeting at our house enables us to use her methods and trainings in the area our dog is the most, at home! I have been able to watch the way she trains and directs my dog and mimic that, and it has changed so much for the better! The counter surfing has decreased drastically, her basic obedience skills are close to perfect, and we are still working towards other behavior goals such as jumping. Nancy is so sweet and caring to us and our dog. She gives out her personal number to you in case of emergency, any needs, or questions you might have. I would highly recommend her to any friends I have looking for someone to help with your dogs behaviors! Thanks Nancy!
I initially chose Zoom Room to enroll my 8 week old puppy into puppy preschool for socialization and basic obedience. This was the best decision! Heather is great and my puppy just passed his AKC S.T.A.R. puppy test! He will now be moving on to puppy obedience and we will definitely keep coming back here! There is outstanding agility equipment here and my puppy loves learning the agility course mixed in with his obedience training! A great way to keep them engaged and learning and also super fun for the owners too! I highly recommend coming to Zoom Room for your dog/puppy training needs! We will keep coming!
Over the last year, I have been fortunate to have Hilton Butler from K-9 Bootcamp train my puppy so he could become a therapy dog. From the first encounter with the Butler family I knew my dog would be in good hands. They understood the purpose of his training and knew what he would have to learn in order to become a therapy dog for kids with special needs. I was greatly relieved to know that my dog would be staying in their house with their children. This meant a lot to me since my dog spent 6 weeks being trained. To know that he would not be neglected in a kennel on a large property was a huge relief. Auggie was immediately welcomed by all family members and was treated like one of their own pets. He was in loving hands from the moment he walked in the door. I felt that Hilton was able to apply various protocols to meet my dogs needs due to his extensive background with K-9 training in the military, police, and service dog environments. Hilton demonstrates a firm hand while training, but uses positive reinforcement as well, which was needed for my dog. He ensures that you know the protocols to carry over in the home environment after training is complete. If there was any question regarding Auggies behaviors at home, Hilton was available by email, phone, and even conducted follow up sessions at my house. K-9 Boot Camp is a professional and loving dog training facility. They excel in providing individual treatment to meet your specific training goals. Customer service and compassion for their work shines through. Hilton, took time on a Sunday in November to drive all the way to Auggies therapy test for moral support. Auggie passed with flying colors and now comes to work everyday as a certified therapy dog. He is happy in his new role making sure all kids have a smile on their face while receiving therapy! We could not have done it with out Hilton.
I appreciate Brian's approach to dog training. He establishes a relationship with the dog to create a desire within the dog to want to please him. I also believe that takes time. Every other trainer I talked to only wanted the dog for two weeks, which in my opinion is not enough time to really teach a dog obedience. I have been visiting Brian and Harry once a week and I'm very pleased with Harry's progress. I'm also learning how to reinforce the training once Harry comes back home. Brian has been a pleasure to work with and a very competent trainer.
Stevo is hands down the best trainer I have worked with. Whether you want to do field work or personal house calls for any type of dog - obedience or protection - he is a dog genius who will exceed your expectations with personal service.
Excellent dog training and pet setting for aggressive dog. Had him interacting with other dogs in 1 session!!!
Elizabeth is such a blessing; I cannot say enough great things about her. I recently adopted a puppy, as a first time dog owner, and made the BEST decision to work with her every step of the way. She helped me since before I even adopted my puppy - she helped me find the best puppy for me and prepare my house to bring her home. After our first obedience training session, the puppy had already learned (among other things) how to sit!!! She is helping me socialize the puppy with my cats who have never been around dogs, and has taught me so much about understanding my cats behavior and body language that I had no idea about. Elizabeth is always available to answer any questions I have and is always willing to help. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone!!
I cannot say enough about Tyrus. Not only was I able to trust him with my babies, but also with my house. Professional, respectful and fun for the dogs!! He is my dog and house sitter from now on!!
Lauren has been an amazing trainer, and a wealth of knowledge on dog behavior. I first worked with Lauren over a year ago with my spaz of a German Shepherd puppy, and once I got her back from the 2 week program Lauren offered - she was a dream! Lauren was so personable, and she really takes a personal interest in you and your pup. I love that she was very goal oriented, and with her help my pup went on to obtain her CGC certification, as well as continue to learn in advanced obedience and off leash work.
My Aussie, Tucker, and I started agility training with Linda about 8 years ago. We worked on some basic obedience, as well as, agility. You have to know Tucker to understand the nicknames he earned - butthead and zip-loc! I was encouraged by a fellow student to try agility trialing with Tucker. We have been trialing mainly in ASCA and CPE for about 5-6 years and earning some titles along the way. I started training my rescue Aussie, Kay-cee, with Linda also. Kay-cee has come a long way from the dog reactive girlie to achieving titles in ASCA and CPE. We also took our Aussie puppies, Cutter and Westen, to Linda's Agility Pre-K class and the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class to learn manners and basic obedience. The boys will continue classes in agility, hopefully, this Fall. Linda has the patience of a saint to put up with Tucker's antics. She is wonderful with the puppies. Linda enjoys teaching others the skills needed for basic obedience and for agility in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Brandon did a great job training my dog, Tobias. He took the time and was patient with my boxer/lab mix. Tobias had a large problem with obeying my commands in public with distractions. He now is able to focus on me! I just need to keep up all the hard work Brandon put in! Thank you Brandon for everything!
I have a Norfolk Terrier and a West Highland Terrier who I walk twice a day, but I needed a dog walker for the times of the day when I was unavailable or absent. Matt has been walking my dogs two to three times a day for 4 months now and I couldn't be more pleased with the job he's done. He took the time to develop a personal relationship with my dogs and they are always waiting eagerly at the door when he comes to walk them. His genuine love of animals and understanding of dog/human communication is just what I was looking for in my dog walker.
Sooz has a way with dogs. Instantly, my dog felt very comfortable with her. She had some good points that will help me and my puppy..
My experience with Cosmic Canine has been wonderful. Maya and Megan are very knowledgable dog trainers from manners to competition. I have brought my Giant Schnauzers to Maya for advice in our obedience training. My dogs and I began going so well with Maya's support, expertise and insight. I am looking forward to Cosmic Canines classes and for needed coaching for my dog and I.
Definitely time flexible and patient! My jack russel/ basset mix is a changed dog and loves life now after the shelter.
We have two terriers, ages 4 and 5. We adopted both animals well into their adulthood, and neither had any training. We put up with the accidents in the house, the nipping, and the complete lack of obedience for far too long because we wanted our new additions to settle in before we started correcting their behavior. Well, that is where Damon came in. He assured us that our dogs could behave AND go to the bathroom outside. That they were not the worlds worst (although cutest) dogs, but actually good dogs! What? My dogs can be trained? I was a little skeptical. Initially, we signed up for a private session. We love our dogs, but surely he would change his mind when he met them. Our dogs interacted with Damon wonderfully. They are a little much at times, and he knew exactly how to handle them to get them to calm down or play. We worked on some potty training techniques and talked about the format of his training class. Sure enough, we enrolled our dogs into a six week beginner course and they really responded. They enjoyed going to the park once a week, interacting with other dogs and humans, and best of all, working for food! Never in a million years did I think my dog would "sit" on command. Now they sit, wait, lay down, touch, and leave it! AND THEY POTTY OUTSIDE. I know these things may seem extremely basic to some people, but I honestly didn't think my dogs could be trained - not even to sit. I know some of you out there have dogs like mine. I do want to say, Damon only provides the tools. If you do not reinforce the expected behavior at home then your dogs will not respond. Our dogs were ready to work every Saturday morning, but not so much when we got home. Once we started enforcing those expected behaviors we got much better results. Be prepared to put in just as much work as your pup. I highly recommend Damon! Can't wait to enroll our dogs in more advanced training!

I have experience with many animals especially dogs and cats. I have four dogs and two cats of my own. I have been through training, and I have been a dog trainer for approximately 4 years.
