Personal approach, proven results. After years of self-study and experimentation with watercolor, ink and graphite nature journaling, I decided that I wanted to try to take my work to the next level. I discovered Anastasiya Studios had openings and was able to set up a private weekly lesson for my daughter and me. The lessons focused on the foundational elements of drawing-structure, form, gradient, composition, and included content we were interested in mixed with new artists, styles and mediums that we would not have found on our own. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results-in looking over the weekly progression of our work, the gains are very impressive. We have become stronger not only in our drawing skills, but in looking, thinking and problem solving. I am amazed at how much Anastasiya helped us grow in the short time we’ve been able to study with her. I highly recommend Anastasiya Studios to anyone who is looking for serious art lessons. She will take a personal approach to helping you set and work toward your goals, and you will achieve real results.

Kelsey is a delightfully creative artist! I found her at one of her gallery openings. After talking to her for a few minutes I decided to buy a couple of her Glass Framed Drawings as Christmas gifts for some friends. Needless to say they loved them! A few months after that I found myself needing some custome graphics for a project at work. After digging though some of my business cards I found her contact information. Kelsey was wonderfully professional and worked with me to create the graphics my team needed. Whatever your artistic needs are, paintings, drawings, or abstract computer graphics - Kelsey will do a fantastic job!

Bethany is truly a remarkable teacher and artist. She really knows her techniques and can easily train you to become a better artist. I've been taking lessons from her for about 3 months and my skills have greatly improved because of her. You will not be disappointed by her lessons at all.

I've known Devon for years, since he was little. His talent is amazing. When he was in college working on his degree my wife and I commissioned Devon to draw characters for my boys of superhero's, which they loved. Often times when he was still in High School, Devon would draw pictures for my boys (they are still in school and were little at the time). My boys absolutely love the pictures Devon has drawn over the years for them. I could tell you story after story of Devon's artwork, but I will leave it at this.....he is amazing and my boys absolutely love the work he done for them. They still have every picture he has ever drawn for them.

About

I am a professional artist and teacher with over 40 years of experience. Presently, I am involved in a number of commercial ventures, involving my original Vintage Travel Trailer artwork. Recently, my work was licensed to The Bradford Exchange for their Hamilton Collection. My artwork also appears in catalogs on calendars, coasters, and fabric -- nationally and internationally. I have a large art studio in my home, and I conduct painting classes in fine art for adults and children (over the age of 14.) I am proficient in oil, pastel, acrylic, and casein. I also work with pen and ink occasionally, and I am comfortable painting landscapes, still life, or portraits. I am also a custom framer with over 25 years of experience, and I have a frame shop attached to my art studio.

About

An artist might be: self-taught, formally instructed at schools or institutes of higher learning, informally taught or a combination of the three. I offer an informal home setting with a peacefully controlled environment (allergy friendly). It is individually based teaching with one on one instruction. All levels are welcome from the beginner or hobbyist to the career artist. Increase Awareness: Students will learn how to be aware by cultivating the use of all their senses (seeing, hearing, touch, taste, smell). Tune Perception: Students will grasp the idea of how to see versus just looking. It takes more time and concentration to see. Stimulate and encourage their imagination: The imagination is what sets one artist apart from another. Creativity comes from our imagination, which draws upon all our past experiences and knowledge. Enable Self-expression: Expression is the relationship between thinking and feeling and the ability to translate it into a two-dimensional visual image. Expand Vocabulary: Explain art-related terms to improve communication. Understand Fundamentals: Cover Elements and Principles of Art as well as the Concepts of Perspective. Practice Techniques: Explore different mediums and learn the essentials for each or specialize. Develop Style: Familiarize the student with styles from realism to abstract to help them find their own. (Cartooning and Anime are not taught.)
