My son needed help with math and when I started shopping around I found private tutors to be expensive which was discouraging until I found Planting Seeds Tutoring!!! We worked with Chris to set a clear goal path and we were matched with Hannah as our tutor. Planting Seeds aka Hannah has been a blessing to us. Hannah is incredible!! She has this ability to drag my son out of his teen mode and get him to interact and have fun while tutoring. Some days are harder than others but Hannah doesn't give up! Its only been a few months and my sons math grade has already improved at school. I highly recommend Planting Seeds Tutoring they will work with you to ensure you get the service you need. They are not just selling a product they actually care and want to help you accomplish your goals. Not only are they service friendly but also affordable. Chris has worked with my on every level to ensure nothing would get in the way of my son getting the help he needed. Hannah has been great and flexible with our crazy weekly schedules and is always wiling to accommodate us. I'm excited to see what Planting Seeds will help my son achieve. Thank you Chris & Hannah!!!

My daughter always seemed to have panic attacks leading up to tests. I was desperate to find a way for her to be comfortable especially as SATs were coming up. All I can say is after a few weeks with the tutors and life coaches at Chelsea International Education, my daughter’s confidence level went up a lot. She was not only prepared to take her SATs but her core academic skills have improved tremendously, which has helped her with her AP exams. The fact that all of the Chelsea tutors are fully qualified teachers, I think makes a major difference and really sets them apart. It really is a quality service and I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

I thought Frank did a good job of helping me come up with ideas and he did so in a way that they felt like mostly my ideas. This made me feel smart. Frank helped me brainstorm and polish my college essay for A&M, where I will be transferring in the fall. Without him it's possible I would have had to settle for my second choice college. Whenever I need help with a paper I go to Frank before any other English tutor, and I have even altered my schedule when I have a paper due so as to be in the tutoring lab at the same time as Frank. I highly recommend Frank.

Couple of words that come to my mind immediately when I recall my experience of learning English and getting prepared for IELTS exam with Lusine Shakhnazaryan are: encouragement, motivation, individual approach, philosophy of language, fun.

I was failing. Period! I was at a loss on how to pass Economics. I was assigned Mr. Ramiro and we sat and he went over the syllabus, and he talked and questioned me a lot! The next meeting he had assignments for me, While I did them he would review my notes and give me additional homework. But he would give me practice exams. I was taking 12 hours plus tutoring and the homework was crazy. But Mr. Mata drilled me and explained everything at my level and not at the doctorate level so well I went from an "F" to a final grade of a "C". If I would have had him before midterms, I may have gotten a "B" or an "A"! And he is a tutor for other courses in which I will request his services! Paul D. Mary-Beth has been an excellent teacher during the sevaral months spent together. She is always looking for new ways of teaching english, which match with the requirement of the student. Lessons were always stimulating, well-presented and funny. I really enjoyed Mary-Beth as a teacher. Every week was different and enjoyable. She was opened to any request or questions, it was really great

I'm happy to give the highest recommendation to the folks at Club Z. Our daughter (sophomore) was struggling in English & Math. Our initial contact with Will was extremetly informative. After the initial consultation, the tutors themselves were professional and always on schedule. We have worked with tutors before with relative success, but we've never seen results close to what our daughter has had this past Spring with Club Z. We couldn't be happier with the progress, and we'll definitely be using Club Z in the future. Highly recommend!

I used Megan as a personal tutor 2 years ago in my English class. She was amazing, I brought my grade up to an A from a C thanks to her. So I then decided to use her last year to get a professional resume done. Thanks to her very professional help, I managed to score a great job over three others. She even helped me prep for the interview.

Mr Latimer is a great teacher! He tutored me from basic English class to SAT preparation. He is very responsible and patient. He helped me a lot with my reading and writing assignments even now I’m in college. He is very knowledgeable that he could tell you all about the wars and Shakespeare. Those topics might not sound interesting, but his sense of humor could make them fascinating!

      About

In addition to a master's degree in writing, I have over three years of experience in teaching rhetoric and composition at the university level. I am also a certified TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have tutored beginning English speakers. No two students are alike, and I find that tutoring provides the best opportunity to customize curriculum to the student's particular needs. With each lesson, I come prepared with more than one approach to learning the material, so that students are always learning through a method that best engages their particular skill sets. I love what I do and have found tutoring to be a rewarding experience for both student and teacher. I hope you'll consider me for your English tutoring needs.
