A year is a long time to spend with a consultant and you want to know that they understand your vision, your budget and overall wedding dream. We suggest that you check references, get referrals from friends that have utilized their services and that they are not practicing on your wedding. Make sure that the person you hired is available and responsive to your needs. Brides hire planners because they themselves do not have the time.
