Alfonso has had 3 tutoring sessions with my son. Upon our first meeting I provided him with some information that my son's teacher had forwarded to me regarding what my son was having challenges with. Alfonso reviewed the information and was quickly able to assess his needs and get started. So much was accomplished after just their first session. Another thing is that Alfonso was a good fit for my son. Not only was he teaching him but he was able to connect with him.--which makes all the difference. My son looks forward to his tutoring sessions (this is the kid that was once dead set against tutoring and didn't see the benefit of it). I am so pleased and extremely grateful for what Alfonso has been able to do for my son. I listen to them and my son is actually excited and engaged. I would encourage anyone who has a child who is struggling to seek help and Alfonso would be a great place to start.

Armin is a very good and reliable private tutor. He helped me a lot and made my math class much easier. He explained the big picture of several concepts that my math teacher never fully covered. I would recommend him for anyone struggling with math.

I always had a dream of achieving an advanced degree. I am proud to tell you that Mr. Burke has helped me from being a teaching assistant to a teacher with a master's degree. I am most appreciative of his efforts. He is reliable, highly competent, humourous and concerned about his students. Thanks, John.

I have two weeks taking English classes at CCLS Houston and I'm very excited for the weeks to come! Our teacher Paula is amazing; we develop English conversations, she correct us at any time that is needed and the classes are very student focus because it's a small group.

She's an incredible teacher and her approach to every child is based on that child's individual level. We moved from Louisiana to Texas (the fourth largest state in the US) and my son had a hard time adjusting. Ms. Morrison took an personal interest in my son and with much guidance from home, and her checking in almost every day with me on his progress, my son had mostly A's and B's and was the student of the month. I thank ms. Morrison sincerely for all of her hard work and keep it up!! Wish you were his 4th grade teacher

I have had the privilege of having Cheryl as my Chinese tutor and I would give her the highest rating possible. She is an exceptionally gifted teacher who is very knowledgeable about the Chinese language as well as the Chinese culture. Being an older student, I do not have the ability to learn the language as quickly my younger fellow students but she was very understanding of this. Indeed she was God sent because she was able to strike a fine balance between being challenging and being patient. I highly recommend her for anyone starting Chinese lessons because her musical background allows her to hear if you are using the right tones in this tonal language. This is very critical in building a good foundation for Mandarin. Lastly, I want to mention that learning Mandarin is not easy but her enthusiasm and constant encouragement is a blessing!

Vasili is an excellent tutoring resource. He was able to help our son who was struggling in Pre-Calculus, and his grades went from C- to A. He is the best tutor we've worked with. He was professional, patient and most of all a GREAT teacher. With his help, we are confident our son will get into the college of his choice!
