Very pleased with Labs Construction. They laid the foundation work for the studio in my backyard. The guys did a great job and I would highly recommend them.
I have never written a review, but Betnun's went above and beyond my expectation. I have a 2000sqft upscale bridal salon, the job required to remove texture from most of the walls up to 20 ft by sanding and then apply a layer of skim drywall to the smooth surface. The paint will then need to be resand and another layer of paint to be applied. They were responsible for all wedding dresses, furnitures and jewelries to be placed in a separate area. They also remove the smaller light fixtures that were fragile, work half of the building first, cover the back of the building with plastic from top to bottom to prevent dust from getting into that area. They also remove the laminated flooring, smooth out the foundation and install new solid wood flooring with waterproofing glue underneath. They worked a 12 to 14 hours day for a week to meet the deadline despite there are obstacles coming up in between. They never rush on their job and I was happy that they took pride of the project and acted as if it's their own property. The owner is a great communicator between the client and the crew. They are very professional. The price is in good value for what you are getting. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you for taking care of my store!
Shorty's team did a fantastic job on my whole home re-pipe. The pricing was fair and they were able to start pretty much right away. We had one small hiccup one night where there was miscommunication about whether the water could be turned off, but the miscommunication was smoothed out easily. I'll be hiring Shorty to do my bathroom plumbing on the bathroom remodel I'm having done next. Shorty is extremely responsive which is my number one requirement in a contractor- his team also did good work and kept the project areas clean every night.
Polo and his team did a great job with our concrete patio. They're courteous and professional. We're very happy!
Freddy inspected our foundation and determined the landscaping is causing the issue; not the foundation. He recommended we remove trees in the flower beds. I asked how much I owed him and he said nothing; the estimate was free. Will definitely keep his number for future use in case we do encounter foundation issues. Thanks again, Freddy!
Demolition of old driveway and hideous porch by previous owner, was a lot of work. Install of new three car wide driveway very nice work. Work progress was fast with good weather owner is hard worker, pricing was good with quality also helped to obtain permit. I think good communication is key when working with contractors so you get no surprises in this case we talked everyday on work progress and noted extra work which can not be foreseen, also I had extras as job was done overall I would recommend Sanchez construction.
Katrina and her team finished my porcelain/granite tile flooring, painting, and half bathroom installation. She was the only contractor that provided a reasonable cost out of all of the quotes I received. Her team arrived promptly each day and did a tremendous job! I will definitely use them for all of my future home projects as well as recommend them to all of my acquaintances.
So far,I'm very happy with Bijay. While architects and contractors turned me away, Bijay knew exactly what I needed. It's a simple fix for a code violation that was tagged in the building 10 years ago. We'll see if the city clears the deficiencies upon receiving his sealed letter.
If I could give Rick and his crew at Finishes Unlimited six stars instead of five I would. He's truly a professional, knowledgeable, on time, aims to please and his attention to detail is outstanding. Hire him. Let me tell you about the work he did for me. I inherited a house built in the 70's. Due to unforeseen circumstances I ended up living in this fixer upper nightmare and there's only so much I can do myself. There were cracks every where (ceiling, walls, fireplace) due to foundation problems I had repaired a few years back. I had mold growing on my vaulted ceiling in my loft game room and around vents in the den/loft from years of condensation dripping. I had practically no insulation in the attic from years of squirrels frolicking up there and my ac duct work had never been changed since the 70's (the air coming out of it was not too "fresh" - it also had a bit of squirrel damage too). I also had really dark paneling in the den I wanted removed (as it turned out there was mold behind it too, gag). All of it needed to be taken care of. Previously, I had a different contractor remodel/paint two baths and one spare room and it was a disaster - paint peeling from the trim work, caulking was used instead of mud to fill cracks so it looked worse, etc. - and I had reviewed this with Rick to insure the same thing wouldn't happen. Well Rick and crew did a great job and finished almost on time. The delay was partly due to me adding a few things to the scope of work like fixing grout in my kitchen/entry, caulking around the garage, hanging new blinds (omg the harvest gold ones HAD to go), changing all the door knobs in the house, hanging new curtain rods, adjusting my garage door so it'll stay open, yadda yadda. Btw, Rick didn't even complain when he had to remove the billion staples (I exaggerate not) left by the foundation repair guys when they had hung plastic on my walls. And if I wasn't satisfied with a particular patch he would fix it till I was satisfied. At the end, since I had added scope of work, I was over the original estimate which I expected, but he was VERY fair. He only charged me materials (he had receipts) and a little bit for labor. I will definitely hire him again - I have windows to replace, exterior brickwork that needs repair, the list is endless.
