I hired Texans Movers this past Saturday to move from a 2nd floor 2-bedroom apartment to a 2-story townhouse.
First, they had finished with their previous job early and reached out to me to see if I'd like them to arrive earlier (yes!). They arrived at my door perfectly on the dot of the newly scheduled time (11AM).
With it being a Saturday, they dispatched a 3-person crew for $99/hr with a $100 trip fee (for a 15-20 milemove). All 3 of them were efficient, which made them quick...they were never "rushing" or showing a lack of care, but there weren't any wasted moments. And that professionalism was just what I needed in a stressful move.
All told, wrapping all the pieces of the sectional couch, the beds, and other delicate furniture, loading up the truck, a 45-minute drive, and then unloading on the other end took a grand total of 2 1/2 hours, and cost less than half what I'd spent with other movers previously.
I've not noticed any damage to anything thus far, and that's just flat-out incredible to me.
I'll definitely be calling them again the next time I move!

This company is amazing. Our new apartment was having problems getting ready and Vanessa, who helped us schedule, gave us the flexibility that we needed to allow us to move into the apartment. At one point, the apartment complex said we would have to wait another day and Vanessa was able to accommodate it without any extra fees. Great service.
As for the movers, these guys are true professionals. They moved our apartment faster and safer than any mover we have had before. We were living on the third floor at our previous complex, which made for a not fun time moving everything 3 floors. The care and skill that they handled our belongings with made it so I didn't worry for a second. Not a thing was harmed during the move. They even helped us fix a table leg that had been broken for the past three months. Thank you guys so much for an awesome moving experience. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because the move wasn't excellent, it was perfect. I will definitely be using Texan Movers again for my next move.

Texans Moversmoved my daughter with short notice. They arrived on time and were extremely professional. Furniture was moved with care, wrapped when needed as were tv sets. The movers actually beat us to the moving site but did not start the "clock" until we were in the house and they were ready to start moving. There were 3 men and these guys were moving! No taking their time trying to stretch the time out. Granted, moving into the new apartment, things slowed down a bit but it was 98 degrees and my daughter was moving into an apartment on the 3rd floor! The men were very polite and my daughter and I felt very comfortable around them. The move took 2 hours and 15 minutes. She was charged for only the 15 minutes, not another full hour. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Check Yelp for reviews too before you choose...great ratings for this company on Yelp as well.

These guys are awesome !!! They arrived 10 min early to our house, were extremely careful with our belongings and the house, were courteous and professional throughout the whole moving process. They are quick and efficient. They even moved stuff around a few times for me as I wasn't sure where I wanted furniture to be placed. Next time we move we are using these guys again. Santos and his crew are awesome. They treated our belongings and our family like their own.

I will definitely hire these guys again. They were on time, did the job really quickly and took care of my furniture. They took apart my furniture at my old house, moved it and set it back perfectly like I wanted it at the new house. More importantly they were pleasant to deal with. From my initial talk with Vanessa to the movers, each person valued customer service. Will recommend this company to friends.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer calls in or sends us a massage we first start with asking a couple of questions like .
-What date are you looking to schedule ? ( This will help us determine if we have availability and the rate as we do run specials on specific days of the week .)
- What are we moving for you ?
- A 1 bedroom apartment/Home ?
-A 2 bedroom apartment /Home ?
-A 4-5 bedroom Home ? (This will determine how many truck the move will require , as well as the rate for the coustomer's specific moving needs.)
-After we go over with our customers regarding the questions , we then give our customers a quote or a specific pricing depending on there moving needs.
-If the customer is ready to schedule we then schedule the move and go over all charges , hourly rate , trip fee....
-We also send a confirmation that the move has been schedule to the customers email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have meetings on a weekly basis and , training with our staff on a monthly basis.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
All of our family had been working for one of Houston's larges Moving Company's for over 30 years .
We wanted to start our own Moving Company to change some things for the better , like providing the best customer support ,provide proper training for the movers ,and provide professional service at the best price.
Because this is a family owned and operated business we all work together to provide the best service to all of our customers.
