I've had my first 4 guitar lessons with Vaughn, and look forward to continuing our lessons. He has a knack for making music theory feel less daunting, and more memorable/functional knowledge. I've already noticed an improvement in my guitar playing.

I started voice lessons with Dr. Bruton in 2014 When I first started my voice was really bad, I had a range of a 6th. I could not sing "legato" and everything was nasally and bright. I could not act nor felt comfortable on stage when I had to in our studio voice labs. As the first year went by, my notes and voice where making a huge difference, I was singing for connected and also with some support. I went to GHNATS and also placed in the final rounds. His technique helped a lot, his teaching method is very unique and quite helpful when it comes to singing on the breath and also support. He is very clear and he gives you tips / comments on what to work for during the week prior to the next lessons. He suggests a journal which is pretty standard in every voice studio the professor usually asks to keep a "practice log" Dr. Bruton is very personal with every single one of his students, and is very caring and passionate for all his studios. His love for teaching really shows in the way he interacts in every lessons, and the way he focuses on every student he works with. I learned a lot from him, not only voice technique but also acting and how to break down an aria / art song. By the time I finished my studies and did my Junior recital, I was singing repertoire by Duparc, Respighi, and heavy / dramatic roles for the Tenor voice because his technique allowed me to do so without tiring or hurting my voice which is a crucial thing. Dr. Bruton is very pro vocal health and would not make you do anything that would hurt the instrument, which is great in a voice professor. Because of him and his technique, I was accepted to Cincinnati Conservatory, UNT, UT at Austin and also, was in the top 40 auditioners for admission to The Curtis Institute, which only two out of those 40 receive acceptance every once a year from the entire nation or world. You will learn so so much and will be 1000% worth it. He has opened many doors for me and he can do the same for you. I have nothing but great, amazing, positive things to say about him. I could keep going on and on. His love for his students and job really shine through in every lesson. He is the most amazing human being, teacher and the best voice teacher I have ever studied with or that I have been around of.

Ben really listens to what I want to achieve with vocal lessons, and he was very open to helping me eve though I had never had a vocal lesson before. He has the improvement of his students' voices as a priority and worked with me to get the maximum out of my lessons on a limited graduate student budget. He's been a great teacher and my voice has definitely improved!

I am very pleased with Amy Lauro's piano lessons for my son. My wife and I moved our son from a teacher focused on small kids (elementary school age mostly) to somebody more suitable for middle school/high school age; the transition was smooth, and by being present at a number of lessons I could appreciate Amy's method and tactful approach, yet persistent and eventually yielding very satisfying results. My son improved his technique, attention to detail, and overall approach to playing piano music.

Despite a somewhat disappointing first free lesson - the instructor didn't realize I was coming and was underprepared - Skiles went out of his way to make up for it. He sent me a personalized message apologizing for the miscommunication and offered to give me another free lesson. I decided to give it another chance, and boy was it worth it. Skiles spent an entire hour teaching me fundamentals and sent me off with a bunch of practice exercises to help improve my finger coordination, strumming, and sense of tempo. I highly recommend taking lessons with him if you're looking to bring your guitar skills to the next level!

I have enjoyed my lessons with Laura so very much! In just a few lessons so far I feel I have come so much farther in developing my voice than I ever did in years in choir. She is funny and friendly and very encouraging! I look forward to more!

Amy was willing to come to me for my music lessons when I was unable to travel to her. Her professionalism is at a high standard and her musical knowledge is wide in scope. She is also an excellent teacher for adults and children, singles or groups. She's just plain awesome.

I have had the privilege of having Cheryl as my Chinese tutor and I would give her the highest rating possible. She is an exceptionally gifted teacher who is very knowledgeable about the Chinese language as well as the Chinese culture. Being an older student, I do not have the ability to learn the language as quickly my younger fellow students but she was very understanding of this. Indeed she was God sent because she was able to strike a fine balance between being challenging and being patient. I highly recommend her for anyone starting Chinese lessons because her musical background allows her to hear if you are using the right tones in this tonal language. This is very critical in building a good foundation for Mandarin. Lastly, I want to mention that learning Mandarin is not easy but her enthusiasm and constant encouragement is a blessing!

Ms. Hargis thus far, has been incredible! The lessons are for my 17 year old daughter who needs help with a few things; namely pitch, breathing and control and after the first lesson, we already see a difference...improvement! Ms. Hargis is very thorough, patient and knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed in her teaching...and to top it off, she's got a lovely spirit too!
