First of all, I made requests that Bonnie ignored regarding the colors and design on the wedding cake and the type of icing. It was so plain compared to what I requested and ordered. Second, I was so embarrassed and disappointed because the cake tasted horrible, it was so dry, as if it was made a week before the wedding. Third, I ordered cream cheese icing, however, it tasted like plain sugar icing. The icing was also dry and old as well. Even the strawberry filling didn't taste good. Unfortunately, our guests were not coming back for seconds and we had to throw out a lot of cake that was left on their plates. There was an entire 10" layer of cake left. I brought the cake home and was going to freeze it, however, it was impossible and a waste of time because it simply wasn't worth saving. We had a wedding at our church two weeks earlier and their sheet cake was ordered at Sam's and it was out of this world, delicious. I made a mistake and didn't order the cake from Sam's. A wedding is a one-time special event. And, you pay several hundreds of dollars on a wedding cake that is supposed to be beautiful and delicious. Don't make a purchase from someone who doesn't have a place of business. Because you are ordering a wedding cake from someone blind folded and taking a big chance and taking a gamble on getting a cake that's not worth eating, like I did. P.S. I called Bonnie to let her know about the cake before I posted a review out of courtesy, and, even invited her to my home so that she could taste the cake. She didn’t respond, and took the picture of the Laws’ wedding cake down from her Facebook page so that I could not post a review.
