Introduction: Luis Delgadillo's biography: Guajiro Dance Company is a Dallas based salsa dance group formed by Luis Delgadillo. He began his dancing career in the 1980s in Los Angeles, California, and has helped create several dance groups, including the Guajiro Dance Co. and Guaguanco Dance Company of Houston. Luis has visited Cuba many times and has studied its diverse dance forms, including the Guaguanco (an Afro-Cuban street dance form). Luis has brought numerous international salsa dancers from many countries to the Metroplex area to conduct workshops, perform shows, and participate in Houston's and Dallas' salsa conventions and other major salsa events, which he organizes and promotes annually. Luis' passion is the promotion and expansion of the Latin culture through dance.
