- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the current trend in photography, whereby most clients want their digital files and aren't interested in buying products through me. I try to add value by including a pre-loaded gallery on a consumer site, MPix, that I know will deliver the color quality I expect in prints and products. I also add value by including a smartphone app so you can carry your images with you and share them with anyone, anytime. With all that said, while my pricing reflects the digital-only option in most cases, I've designed beautiful heirloom lay-flat albums, ordered gorgeous canvases for the walls and so much more for many clients...if you'd like help ordering prints or products I am here to help!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a new client, we'll discuss your photography needs and decide upon a date/time to complete the photo session (or date of the event, as applicable). I'll ask for your email address so that I can send you my location list and my contract. You'll review, choose a location or indicate a preferred alternate site, then sign and send the contract back to me, which secures your date/time. Clients can pay via cash, check or credit card (Visa, Amex, Mastercard or Discover).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied several years of photography in college; started on film and in a darkroom. I am trained in Lightroom and Photoshop - allowing me the individually edit and perfectly enhance every photo.
