Mr. Fooshang is an outstanding leader and sales coach. As a fellow sales manager in a different division I watched him coach, motivate and lead a division that broke sales records quarter after quarter. His management style is not micro-managing and intimidation. Mr. Fooshang's philosophy is the opposite, bringing out the best in people to realize his team's personal goals and the organization's objectives. He cares about people and trains and develops them. He shares his sales experience with his team and motivates them like no any coach I've seen. Kudos Mr. Fooshang. I've learned a lot from you and am grateful for you sharing your leadership, management, and coaching methods.

Voice lessons with Roland has been an amazing experience for me. I was a singer before taking voice lessons, but the two main areas I lacked was voice control and breathing.  I am very impressed with my singing so far. Now, due to correct breathing and voice control, I can comfortably hit high notes I never thought was possible. I have also learnt pitch control, good dynamic control, well controlled vibrato, vocal qualities and tones, and ability to express emotion in song performance. This is a very big accomplishment for me as an artist, and I appreciate all Roland is teaching me. I would recommend Roland to anyone who wants to take their singing to another level.

The editor of Eden Cultures, Heather Day, has an abundance of knowledge from health and nutrition to supplements and exercise. I have leaned on and taken her advice on many occasions and to this day I use information she has given me for the benefit of my health, my children's health. Her wealth of information about consumer affairs and political statutes and proposals has opened my eyes in a number of areas. If you want food for thought, you are in the right spot. If you are tired of the old ways of doing things in this country, this website will become a staple for you. Heather never stops learning, she has a strong desire to be as informed and proactive as possible in her life. I am so glad she has started this site so that more people can benefit from Heather's research as much as I have. She is a hard worker and an honest soul who truly cares about the good of others. She works with integrity and passion, I have seen it time and time again. I have recommended her to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Yoga Newbie - I was completely new to yoga when I had my first session with Sid. I liked the idea of private sessions because I'm the gal in a group class who's going left when everyone else is going right. Before our first session, I had told Sid why I wanted to do yoga and my ultimate goal. I was very nervous before the first session, but Sid's serene demeanor put me at ease. I have since had weekly sessions with her, and each session brings me closer to my goal. I sleep much better and my balance has improved. Sid incorporates soft music and aromatherapy, making the experience as relaxing as possible. As she leads me through each pose, she is able to describe specifically what I should do so that I am able to follow. She also encourages me to listen to my body so that I do not injure myself. I highly recommend Sid because she is so encouraging and my sessions are truly designed for me.

      What is a career coach?

If you’re interested in furthering your career and want expert help, a career coach is a smart solution. A career coach is a professional you hire to guide you during a job search or a career transition, or to help you improve and advance in your current position. A career coach analyzes your work situation and learns what your professional goals are. They then create a strategy to help you achieve your targets. Throughout the process they should provide objective feedback and guide you in approaching the process strategically. Here are some of the tools and tasks a career coach may assist you with:

      • Helping you build a strong resume that reflects your work history, potential, and skills
      • Coaching for interviews and strategies for solid answers built around your resume and the target job
      • Defining your career goals
      • Creating a plan for job searching
      • Improving networking strategies and skills
      • Developing strategies for negotiating raises or promotions
      • Assessing why you’re not getting where you want to go
      • Identifying new positions or career opportunities that fit your skills

      Why is career counseling important?

Career counseling can help you discover your career path, help you overcome challenges preventing you from finding happiness in your job, or help you learn more about career opportunities that are available to you. Career counselors are typically counselors who specialize in helping guide people into their best career choices. As professionals, they have typically completed a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on career counseling and bring a nuanced understanding of the emotional blocks that prevent someone from doing what they love or getting ahead in their current position. Here are some of the ways that career counseling can help:

      • Identify your skills and talents and how they correlate to different career paths
      • Educate you about the educational requirements for launching in various careers and what earnings can look like
      • Help you understand the kind of environment you want to work in, and which careers are best suited for that
      • See opportunities to transfer your existing skill set to other career areas
      • Help you identify causes of tension or unhappiness in your current career and how to overcome those difficulties
      • Help you create a game plan for moving forward
      • Provide a safe space for you to understand your feelings about career choices you’re making

How much does it cost to hire a career coach?

A career coach provides one-on-one sessions to help you reach your career goals or overcome any challenges you’re having in your career path. The cost to have career coaching can vary based on factors such as the number of sessions you purchase at one time and the experience and rates of your counselor. Career counselors are typically professionals who have earned at least a master’s degree in their field. Based on their academic background, supplemental certifications they have received, and any postdoctoral work they have done, their rates may vary. Typically career counselors offer reduced rates when you sign on for their services on an ongoing basis. A typical price range for career counseling services (nationally) could be $75-$150 per session. Remember to always ask if the career counselor offers a complimentary introductory session. You want to make sure the relationship will be the right personality and counseling style fit to help launch your confidence and upcoming career changes.

How much does it cost to hire a career coach?

When it’s time to take your career to the next level, it’s time to hire a career coach. The cost to have a career coach help you with your professional journey will vary based on how many sessions you require, the level of coaching you desire, and the rates of the coach as determined by their experience, expertise, education and training. On average, career coaching sessions can range from 60 to 120 minutes, depending on the professional and what your needs are. Career coaches in smaller towns and areas with a lower cost of living will also typically have lower rates than those residing in large metro areas like New York, although most do offer remote coaching. Many coaches also offer a free introductory consultation, which gives you the opportunity to determine if their personality and coaching style are the right fit. It’s helpful to ask the coach about their relevant experience and get references from former clients. Depending on the professional, session rates could range anywhere from under $60 to well over $250 per session. Package discounts are a good way to commit to the relationship as well as get savings on services.

      What is a career counselor?

If you’re feeling lost in your career path, overwhelmed, in need of a job but confused as where to start, or ready for change but uncertain what you want, a career counselor is a good choice for you. A career counselor is typically a licensed professional who has earned a master’s degree in counseling — likely with an emphasis on career counseling. Each state has different licensing requirements for career counselors, so be sure to research before reaching out to a pro.

Due to their academic backgrounds, career counselors often have a more holistic and in-depth approach than a career coach. Career coaches are not regulated by states and also tend to be more business-focused — a good fit for those who know what they want but need help achieving it. On the other hand, a career counselor provides guidance and clarity around some of the more emotional aspects that job hunting and career movement entail. Career counselors meet with you in a series of one-on-one sessions. They assess your personality and learn what drives you. They get a detailed understanding of your work history and your hopes, and often work to help you discover any internal blocks preventing you from going where you want to go. Hiring a career counselor is appropriate at any time in your career, from recent graduate to executive-level management.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
