I run a small restaurant, which makes a decent income but nothing great. Always made sure that my taxes were paid in full and I was covered. This is why I was shocked when I received a notice of intent to levy which said that I had outstanding taxes for more than three years. I had previously worked with Legacy Tax for their accounting services when I first started my restaurant, so I contacted them again to find out if they would help. They looked at the notice and checked my accounts and concluded that the problems were due to the payroll which was one of the biggest expenses for my business. They audited and prepared my financial statement and submitted them to the IRS. We did owe a small amount in back taxes for one year but nothing as grand as what the IRS notice suggested. The taxes were cleared and I breathed a sigh of relief. Great work.
