We really enjoyed working with celebrations by Phillip because he made us feel comfortable. Letting us know it's okay if we messed up (and I the bride, surely did have my moments of stutter) Mr Boone did several great things for us, but I wanted to point out just a few more things that were special to us. Mr Boone before the ceremony went through my bridal party making sure everyone looked as fantastic as could be, noting hair, adjusting necklaces to the right positions everyone appreciated it! And after the ceremony he helped pose us for pictures and they ended up being my favorite shots. Mr Boone did an amazing job officiating us, but what made him remarkable was all the extra effort he puts in. You will truly be blessed if you choose to work with celebrations by Phillip!

ToCarra is absolutely amazing. She did a fantastic job on my bridal and my bridesmaids' makeup for my wedding. She made us all look glamorous without looking unnatural. I had so many people stop me during the reception commenting on how good everyone looked! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's really personable as well. She's hilarious and down to earth, and kept everyone calm before the ceremony - me most of all! She also had her work partner Katie do our hair, which was a godsend because I don't know how you would do 6 people's makeup AND hair in such a short amount of time. They are a great team, and Katie is awesome. She's also very personable and talented, and is able to work wonders even when you don't know what you want your hair to look like. My bridal hair was absolutely stunning - some of my guests thought I had extensions put in because of how full and detailed it was! I can't recommend these two enough! Thanks, guys!!!

What can I say... this woman is pure GOLD! I was hesitant about getting my makeup done for my wedding because I didn’t want to look overdone or unnatural but I went through with it hoping for the best. Jessika was extremely responsive, sweet and accommodating leading up to my big day, and when I met her I instantly knew that, at the very least, she’d be my forever girl crush. She has such a bright, infectious energy about her that made all of us gals feel so at ease- she’s just plain FUN- and that counted for so much since I spent the first half of my wedding day with her. As for make-up, you won’t find anyone better! Just trust me. I have never felt so beautiful, and my bridal party agreed that she was the best [make-up artist] they’d ever had. She did a flawless job, and it lasted for hours without needing any retouching! My only regret is that I couldn’t fit her in my pocket and take her home. Get this woman in your life- she’s good for the soul. And your face.

A few months ago, my fiance and I were planning for our wedding and we had a big argument over whether or not we should get a dj. In my mind and past experiences djs were lame and cheesy- always playing the same ol dance routine songs. And also I wasn't too thrilled about spending more money. Initially, I just wanted to hook up my ipod to speakers and have it play for the reception.....However, I am SOOOO GLAD I listened to my fiance and booked Aaron. He was AMAZING and took care of everything- from having the speakers set up for the ceremony so everyone could hear to mixing some really great songs for the reception. He has a huge playlist to choose from and if your song isnt there you can request it like I did and he will get it. I had like 20 songs and he got everyone of them. We are so happy not only that he had all the music equipment and talent, but that he also had such a great attitude. You know some djs you look over at and they just look dead, bored or mean. But Aaron was professional, exuberant and interactive with the crowd the entire time. His welcoming smile and passion for music is what made the difference. Sorry my review was so long, but I just really want to get the point across that Aaron is the BEST DJ EVER. And you should do yourself and guest a favor and book him :)

Erica did makeup and hair for my bridal photoshoot and I was really pleased with the results. Her work was done effectively and in a timely manner. She adapted easily to the look I was going for and I felt beautiful for my photoshoot. Oddly enough, she knew my photographer and was willing to come for few hours to assist during the photoshoot and do touch ups and pose recommendations which I felt really thankful for and lucky ! I highly recommend Erica if you are looking to get a beautiful and natural makeup look for any occasions !

Amber did a fantastic job as our day of coordinator at our wedding, and the day honestly wouldn't have gone off without her. From our first meeting she was already helping me make quick decisions on tasks that were causing me way too much stress, and by the wedding day she took care of anything that we asked her to. She was incredibly patient with me during my inevitable bridal freak out moments and immediately fixed the issues (caused by other vendors). She took care of business and things were much more effortless because of her. My family raved about her afterward as well, they said she was fantastic at delegating to them about the break down of the wedding. I even adored that she took a minute to dance and celebrate with us on our best day! She'll treat you like she would treat her own family, and you will not be disappointed with her talent!

I can’t recommend Sydney enough. After several failed attempts with other stylists, I finally hit gold. Sydney reviewed everything in my closet, got a sense of my personal style, helped me thin my wardrobe, and made a list for items to look for on future shopping trips. Once we completed that task, she grouped items in my closet I never would have imagined together that just worked. By the time she left, I had photos of over 50+ potential outfits I could fall back on. On separate visits, she went shopping with me and helped me weed out any purchase that was not great and anything that did not fit to a tee. Money well spent! Jane made our wedding flawless. We had a very complicated venue and location and everything came together just perfectly with the help of Jane. There would be no way that we would have been able to pull off such a big wedding without her help. Alexa was my wedding planner/coordinator. I met her at a friends wedding and was in awe at the work she did at that wedding. We met had an consultation she asked lots of questions and in the end we went with her clean & cut package which is essentially full service. When I tell you she literally walked with me and Jensen hand in hand through everything until we said I do and then some, I don't know what I would have done without her. Alexa is amazing, she is my recommendation to anyone in need of an event planner.

    My wife and I highly recommend Attie to anyone in the Austin area who is looking for someone amazing to do their hair for a wedding or special event. We came from 6 hours away to have our wedding down in Austin. The first time we met Attie was for our bridal hair trials, and we were blown away. Neither of us knew exactly how we wanted our hair to be,we had a few ideas and examples but as two people who don't know much about hair we put our trust in Attie and let her creativity run free. On the first try we had exactly what we wanted and immediately knew that was it....Oh and if you are looking for someone fun to be around on your special day or event, Attie is your girl!     I decided to have a wedding of the day coordinator 3 months before my wedding when I started having nightmares about my wedding gone wrong. I found Michelle via thumbtack. I'm so lucky I chose the right one over so many listed in the internet. I just hope that I got her at the planning phase of my wedding so I wouldn't have a hard time researching & comparing for the best wedding vendors by myself. She has a very good list of the preferred wedding vendors. Michelle has such a pleasing personality & easy to work with. She's not pushy & acted upon on what I envisioned my wedding to be. She worked within my budget. She's very professional & was prompt with her email responses. On my wedding day she executed it perfectly! The Church ceremony was solemn. The reception was organized, romantic, & beautifully decorated. I was overflowing with happiness! It was so stress free for me & for my families! We all just enjoyed the special day.     Emmie did a great job! She showed up on time and had our hair and makeup finished on time. She understood exactly what I was looking for, was very sweet and professional, and did a great job doing the little kids' hair. I am not big on makeup and she did a really good job of making it look good for pictures and bridal but not over done. I would highly recommend her!

    I was a very "hands off" bride as I was accepted into law school after my husband and I already set our wedding day. Emmetria connected us with a fabulous caterer (Queenie's Delectable Delights) and super awesome photographers (Mia & Taffy). I needed a wedding planner that could literally just tell me when to show up and what to do (especially after I learned that my midterms were scheduled to begin the Monday AFTER my wedding weekend). We had a fabulous wedding. I am still getting compliments from our guests on the fact that our ceremony and reception were so well coordinated. I went "bridezilla in reverse" because I was so apathetic about the details of my wedding the closer the date approached. I had to step away from 95% of the planning 60-days out from the date to prepare for my first semester of law school. I do not recommend starting law school and getting married at the same time; but, if you must, your wedding is safe with Emmetria. Also, we live in Houston and Emmetria lives in Austin. She drove to Houston for our initial consultation and after we hired her, I never felt like I was working with an out-of-town wedding planner. Ahh Emmetria, I know I gave her hell, but she was 100% professional from beginning to end. My husband and I had several "freak out" moments but Emmetria let our irrational moments of insanity slide right off her shoulders.

    Veronica blew me away! I did hourly consultations with her for my wedding, and she brought my attention to details I had never even thought of. Veronica is an excellent communicator, and from the moment I started speaking with her my planning process became smoother. We discussed budget, vendors, layout, staffing, and décor. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours.       What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

      When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

      • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
      • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
      • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
      • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

      Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

      Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

      • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
      • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
