Dr. Su Kim Piano Studio

I have over 24 years of piano playing experience and over 11 years of piano teaching experience. I have a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of North Texas. I also have a Master's in Piano Performance from Eastman School of Music and a Performance Diploma from SMU. I also have taught at Tarleton State University as an adjunct Piano Professor for the semester. I have been trained in the Suzuki Piano Method for over 5 years. I can teach organized and systematic lessons for students in any level. Many of my students have attended North Suzuki Festival in Dallas and received awards. My students participate in annual recitals and have won the international piano competitions and played in Carnegie Hall in New York. Also, my students won many local piano competitions. Some of my accomplishments are winning prizes in multiple collegiate/ international level competitions (Los Angeles/Liszt, Memphis and Colorado, etc) around the country as well as performing in Carnegie Hall in New York City. I am also a member of the North Texas Music Association and I regularly have my students attend festivals and competitions so they are motivated.
