FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers seeking ABA therapy in the DFW Metroplex should be aware that pricing typically ranges from $150 to $350 per hour, with monthly costs for intensive programs. Families should also be aware of potential insurance coverage (including medicaid) and associated deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will work to engage the client on an approachable and inviting level. In most cases, the first few weeks of a client's ABA treatment plan are spent pairing, including becoming familiar, understanding roles, and building upon the relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To work as an ABA therapist, education typically involves a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field, followed by a master's degree in applied behavior analysis or a related area. Certification, like the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), is often required. Supervised fieldwork hours are also necessary.
