Samantha has mastered the art of sewing. I have seen her flawlessly exhibit her skill through many projects through our time together. Whether it is a tricky pattern or difficult fabric, she has executed each with panache. She treats all her projects with respect and consideration, producing quality work each and every time. With meticulous detail and steady hands, she has (and will continue to) create great work.

I'm very pleased with her work. She embroidered a name on a baby blanket and it turned out exactly how I wanted it.

Have you always wanted to learn to quilt or sew garments? Well, this is the place, and I'm your teacher. I have a small shop located in the Texas Hill Country, in the quaint town of Wimberley, where we sit and sew or quilt while we listen to the "oldies" on the radio. Classes are small, and age has no limit, as long as you're at least 8 years old. That's right; I teach children too. My classes are very "hands-on". That means you actually make your quilt or garment as I instruct you. I don't believe in standing in front of a class, yacking away, hoping you're listening, and then send you on your way to make your project. No way! I'm right there guiding you all the way and guiding you through your "challenges" (we don't make mistakes in my class; we just have challenges). I'm very flexible as far as class schedule. If you can't take a class when I have it scheduled, just tell me when you can, and I'll set up a class just for you. Students work at their own pace. Pay for a project, work on your project, finish your project (even if it's months long), pay for another project, and so on. I have a degree in home economics and have been sewing for over 58 years (since I was 3) and quilting for 15 years. So, come on down, and let's have fun!
