- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introducing myself. Finding out what the customer needs are. Setting up an appointment. Provide a detail report with photos within 24 hours of an inspection. Being professional throughout the entire process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained professional inspector and my license is through Texas Real Estate Commission ( #22160) I am certified to inspect landscape and irrigation systems. I have a bachelors in contraction technology. I am a trained teacher, I teach students in the Northside Independent School district how to build houses. I am a adjourned professor at St Phillips College where I also teach construction technology. I am originally from Jamaica. I have lived in Canada for two years and worked as a subcontractor, as a result I have experience with various types of building structures.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a construction teacher for 16 years. I wanted to share my knowledge and expertise in helping people when buying a home, as a result I started my own home inspection business. I have been married for 11 years and I have two eight year girls and a six year boy with my wife, being able to provide for them, at the end of the day brings me fulfilment as a dad and as a husband.
