- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a personal trainer for a few reasons. My sophomore year in college I gained a tremendous amount of weight. My collegiate golf game suffered and I was not as cognitively sharp. As a result, I made a conscious decision to become more healthy. This decision lead to the discovery of my passion, which is health and wellness. Upon discovering this passion, I have been fortunate enough to run 3 full marathons, run collegiate cross country, and compete in the San Antonio Golden Gloves. Secondly, I decided to venture into the health and wellness industry because of my love for community. Being able to help professionals from all walks of life with their fitness goals is not only liberating, but very humbling. Everyone always has that "little extra" within them, and I absolutely love bringing it out.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most clients I train are either looking to lose weight or gain weight. I also cater a lot to the older adult community as well.
