FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every client is custom. This doesn't mean you pay more, it means you invest in what makes sense. Sometimes it can be $500, sometimes $5,000,000. We are not afraid to talk price, but talking price pre-maturely is like asking the price of car before you've stepped foot on the lot. We're not the cheapest and we probably never will be, if that's what you're worried about, then we're not the company for you and focusing on price for someone who will be the most important investment to your wedding is not a healthy start. You'll always be worried about price, you'll be micromanaging and you'll stress out. We're fully capable of handling that, but you should invest in an event planner, not consider the expense of one. Investing in a Certified, insured, legitimate, tenured, experienced, highly educated & personable event planner shouldn't be cheap. It should be valuable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we work with a new customer, we ALWAYS sit down for a consultation. We want to ensure you're prepared for the days, months and years ahead. A consultation is the most important meeting you'll have for your event. You get to know me, my team and our procedures. We have a very structured way of producing events and this is one reason why we are so highly valued. The consultation should not be scary or intimidating, however, personal and intimate details about life, finances and the future will be discussed. This is how we get to know you, your ideal event and how we'll accomplish this goal. An event is a business transaction, as such we treat every movement with the respect and dignity it deserves. We may not seem like JLo in the Wedding Planner, and you shouldn't expect that. Planning an event for $5,000 or $5,000,000 is serious business. We want to make sure your event is taken seriously too by vendors. Having the credentials and experience we do, vendors answer and want to work with us because we know how to speak and conduct business with them efficiently and professionally. For this reason, a consultation is required so we can best determine the route for which we trek to best manage your event and expectations!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earn CEUs monthly for both corporate(meetings & incentives) and social events(weddings, quinceaneras, bat/bar-mitzvah) at various conferences tailored for professional and dedicated planners that are invite-only. I am one of a few dozen planners from the USA that are asked to attend due to the weight and clients we serve.
