- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 for 30 minutes $50 for 60 minutes One lesson per week is recommended. Payment due at each lesson. As a mother of two small children, I understand the need for emergencies and the need to cancel, for which I believe there should be no penalty.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For beginners: First lesson is spent measuring to find sizing for a violin. If you already have a violin, you can bring it and I will work with you on holding it/posture and beginning to play. I will also instruct you on which books to order at this time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music. I am currently halfway through a Master of Music program at University of Houston.
