Latest Review: Great teacher and great communicator. My wife and I are both taking guitar lessons from Vaughn - my wife is brand new to playing whereas I have been playing for 30+ years. Vaughn handles both ends of this spectrum of skills in a highly proficient manner. His teaching skills and demeanor are simply outstanding and very conducive to learning and achieving our personal objectives. Highly recommended.

Latest Review: Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krume’s teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each student’s unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching.

Latest Review: I am Julian, one of Mr. Stringer’s students. Mr. Stringer is a great piano teacher, because he helps his students when they are stuck and encourages them to keep moving forward. He is definitely worth trying out as your instructor!

Latest Review: I found Andy on Thumbtack and am very happy I did. Andy is a very skilled pianist and great match for what I was looking for in a teacher. I played for about 8 years as a kid, and dabbled with piano and other instruments ever since, so have a good ear and sense for music, but my mechanics and theoretical knowledge are sorely lacking. Andy was quick to recognize and understand the kind of instruction that I need and the biggest impact thus far is in teaching me how to practice. He's versatile in his own skills, so is able to focus on my desire to steer towards blues/jazz. My wife was skeptical about finding and hiring a teacher via thumbtack, but now, after seeing my progress in less than a month, she's interested in joining in the fun and having Andy teach her as well. I highly recommend him.

Latest Review: Both of our daughters, ages 6 and 11, have been taking piano lessons. They have very different personalities, and we have been impressed with Ms. Amy's ability to adapt to each of their learning styles. She has really been able to keep them focused and motivated.
