Thomas has always been focused on improving my physical conditioning and well being. He is prompt and has a workout set especially for me. He changes the routine so that it does not become repetitive and boring. A work schedule is given each month so I can do workouts when not training with Thomas. Great personality and wanting you to become physically fit. Also it needs to be mentioned that if there are any physical health issues Thomas will work to strengthen those areas.

He improved my 40yd dash from 4.72 to 4.41, with speed and strength drills that are second to none. Regardless of your sport or profession his knowledge is on point. Coach Jackson helped me to obtain all American status in college while also being in top shape playing in Europe. I would not put my physical conditioning in another coaches hands. I was given a free workout and was worked incredibly efficiently and to the point of proper muscular exhaustion. I am not new to athletics or working out, but I was missing that umph a professional trainer has to offer.

When I first started with Amy, I was tired and gaining weight at a record setting pace for me. In one years time I had to go up a size and buy new clothes three different times! It was that third time I found my breaking point, crying in the fitting room of Express and letting the reality of having to go next door for jeans for curvy woman sink in. I met with Amy, bared my shame and faced the embarrassment of what my body had become. She didn't judge me, she simply asked me some questions to see what had happened to start all of this. I couldn't give a direct answer but in talking SHE was able to pin point my triggers, assess what I could do to aliviate those first and proceeded to monitor my food to see how, what and when I was eating. She changed my life and I don't mean that in a sappy way. I brought the determination and fought through the pain (coming in after knee surgery which she worked around and helped rehab) I not only listened, I acted. I let her hold me accountable for what I put in my body and what I did with it. I learned how to eat, how to take care if myself food, body and mind and now, because of her, I am back down to a size I want to be! Not what I was, not what I originally thought I wanted, what I need to be and what is healthy! I'm happy to say I'm a size 2, I'm not ashamed to be in a bikini and I can wear whatever I want and not be ashamed of the body looking back at me in the mirror. Motivation comes from results. Energy and health automatically follow to those who take the first step and realize what they want and the second to call Amy! The results for me were priceless, thank you Amy!!!
I have taken a number of yoga classes with Indigo Light. Joni was awesome, my back issues have cleared up, and I'm feeling much better. I will continue to use Indigo for yoga to maintain better health.

When you decide to make a change, Tonya Sampson " my trainer", is only part of her label. She becomes your brand and that's the only way I can describe her. She's your life coach, sounding board, friend, sister, and that person that sometimes at 530 am has sunshine coming out of her bum and you want to punch but instead hug!! Because she's there for you!! She's changed my life to say the least. She always thinks of things that could motivate me, make me laugh when I want to cry, and just be a better person, not just physically but as a human being! It's not about the check in/out hour session for her when she is with you. She's personally invested in you and a cheerleader the whole time, whether you ask for it or not. ;) So having her as your trainer isn't what you get if you work with her. She treats you like you are literally her only client, is flexible, and has your best interest at heart at all times. She's a huge blessing in my life and honesty if you can pick... who wants some meathead trainer that could care less about you when you can have her?

After first meeting John we quickly developed a rapport and John was able to assist me with stress and tension that had been affecting my physical posture and health for some time. I immediately felt the benefits of his treatment and this has also transferred to an increase in motivation and improvements with my fitness and health goals. John gave me practical, useful tools that I have incorporated into my daily life. What I practice is concierge integrative medicine which involves the integration of nutritional medicine and holistic health coaching with concierge primary care medicine. Nutritional medicine, which involves the use of dietary modification strategies and nutraceutical supplements to decrease chronic disease and reduce pharmaceutical use. Holistic health coaching is based on my health manual, "The Algorithm of Six", which involves addressing the six common drivers of chronic disease which include: nutrition (most important, ranging from micronutrient deficiences to food toxicities, allergies, and intolerances) exercise (usually the lack of it, along with prolonged inactivity) sleep (typically insomnia or sleep apnea) stress management (inability to manage stress and/or self-destructive ways of managing stress) isolation (social, familial, spiritual) environmental toxicities (air,, water, food, home, workplace) To the degree all these factors are corrected, the body will fix itself and reduce or eliminate chronic disease.

Thinking of getting a personal trainer?! Look no further Michael Guerra is the one! Seriously I've been working with Michael for about a month now and guess my point is results. I mean you work out to feel better and see results right? Micha is a great coach and motivator and he'll get you to your fitness goals quick. I am not athletic at all, so I am really impressed with how Michaels workouts have built up my stamina and strength. He primarily uses functional training (exercises that mimic everyday movement) but he can customize different types of training to whatever your goals are. I highly recommend him.
